~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~1st Person POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had to close my eyes until the light dimmed down.
The energy I felt in the womb was still there, but far weaker and stranger.
Also, the temperature was much colder and less comfy. But it was easier to move my body.
After I adjusted my eyes to the light could I see.
...well I couldn't see so good. Everything seems to be a bit blurry or out of focus
The person who held me was a woman in her 30th with brown hair and brown eyes. Her clothes are a green garment with a white apron. Her body seems healthy, with a bit of fat and muscle. Because she is the first person to hold me, I assumed she is the midwife.
The midwife looked at me with a gaze that seems to expect something, but because the new environment was so bright that my brain needed time to adjust. After a while, nothing happened and she seems to panic a bit, so she hit my butt.
It hurt like hell. This forced me to cry.
I could hear the midwife speak something in a foreign language that sounded a bit like relief
'Fucking hell! Don't hit children on the bum!' I screamed in my mind.
But from this action, I could see that this is no longer the 21st century on earth because this practice is no longer in use.
I felt really tired after this thought, but before I could sleep I was passed on to (probably) my mother.
She looks beautiful, even though a bit blurry for me. She has straight black hair and black eyes which are like the void with a few stars.
I heard her say something in the same foreign language. It sounded full of joy and expectation. Then I fell asleep
After a while did I wake up in a crib. Just as I was waking up, could I see sharper. Still not a glass clear sight, but a better sight.
I looked around in my room to orientate myself.
The room was a bit humble for my taste but like my mother always says 'never look a gift horse in the mouth'₍₁₎.
This room has wooden walls, ceiling and floor. Also a cabinet and a shelf, which is also made out of wood. One of the walls had a window with a mantelpiece out of wood. The Glass looks very thin, but strangely enough, is there no draft. All things are made out of wood and no ornament is seen not even carvings.
I have a few wooden playthings on the shelf and a stuffed animal, which looked like a white fox with 2 tails, in my crib.
This room is booooooring, except of course the soft toy.
After a while a got a bit hungry, so I screamed like a baby for my food. Well, I am a baby, but still this is humiliating.
After a while, I heard footsteps from a direction I couldn't see because it was blocked by the crib wall at the head end.
The steps get closer and closer until they stop at the crib.
When I heard the person stop near me, was I interested. So I looked up to find a face.
What I saw was a man with short brown hair and a beard. He looked like a strong man, his muscles were well defined. On his body was not a bit of unnecessary fat. He wore traditional oriental clothing.
On his face was a big grin. He said some gibberish which sounded happy as he was stroking my cheek.
I gave him a big smile to make him happy.
The man, presumably my father, played with me for a while until I got hungry. So I screamed because I still can't speak, which is embarrassing for a mentally 21-year-old man.
My father panicked for a second until he tried to find out what was wrong with me. So he checked my diaper. The cool part is that he didn't even touch the diaper but pulled the diaper back with magic or telekinesis or something.
After that check-up, with came back negative, did he bring me to my mother to feed me. It was very difficult to break my mental block and suck my mother's chest so I could eat. And it was embarrassing for me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3rd Person POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After 6 months of being alive in this new world could Arnold understand the language.
His new name is Tao Lee which he quite liked. His mother, Ming Lee, and his father, Fang Lee, named him after a nice uncle they have met during their journeys.
They are cultivator so Tao couldn't guess their age, but they look like there are in their 30s.
Tao was super excited when he heard them talk about Cultivation.
They didn't talk about the name of the world, continent or village and Tao couldn't really question them about it so no progress on that front.
Tao became a big baby very quickly, specifically about 76 cm (29.92 in) tall. Tao's parents were really ecstatic about it, so he guessed that it was a good sign is and not uncommon.
Tao guessed the energy from the womb which he consumed help him develop his body faster and possibly enhance his cultivation talent.
So he tried to test whether I could feel the energy of this world and/or in my body. The energy inside of him felt warm and full vitality, like a hug from mum. He called this energy [Light Energy] because both feelings of this energy remind him of the light.
He couldn't feel the energy in the air. His theory is that you need to be in nature to gather energy in the air.
His theory is correct if you live in a region where energy is scarce and don't use an energy gathering formation.
He crawled out into his garden where he sat under a tree so that he could validate his theory.
His mother was following him to the terrace, because from there she could watch him 'play' and sunbathe.
He couldn't feel the energy of the world at all.
But he kept trying again and again for 30 min. and finally could he feel something.
The energy outside of his body is more chaotic. The energy in the wind felt like is it fresh and free-spirited like a wild horse that cannot be tamed. And the energy in the ground felt like a massive mountain but I could also feel a hint of sharpness in it.
The radius in which he could feel the energy was about 2 meters and the duration was 30 seconds. This is his limit.
Because he didn't limit himself did he feel dizzy.
The dizziness subsided after 10 min.
He named this feeling [Elemental Sense], because he could sense the element. (duh)
He tried meditating again, so he could activate my [Elemental Sense]. The experience was the same, the feelings of the energy, the radius of the [Elemental Sense] even the duration was all identical.
After the second try was he so tired, that he crawled back to his mom to sleep.
His mother was first confused, because a 6-month old baby doesn't normally meditate, but are rather more active for example play with dolls or explore the world.
After a few seconds of silence did his mother say "you are Special, little Tao. No ordinary 6 month year old can understand conversations between adults and can implement it in their life. You are either a reincarnation of a powerful figure or just talented. Either way, I am going to love you my little one."
Tao didn't hear what his mother was talking about because he was so mentally exhausted that he just doze off.
₍₁₎ "don't (or never) look a gift horse in the mouth" means don't find fault with something that has been received as a gift or favor. Don't be ungrateful when you receive a present, even if it's not exactly what you wanted. Link:'Don't Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth' (voanews.com)
