Our four heroes are currently on an air ship on the way towards beacon academy. For some reason they were segregated onto a separate ship but that was just so Ozpin could try and pick up some conversation from them to discern their intentions.
The scenario he developed in his mind after gathering their data was that they were either a spy from a different kingdom or a warrior for Salem. He reviewed the footage of their fighting skills and was shocked to see they used old martial arts. I'm not talking old as in they're outdated and were replaced with modern martial arts which are more efficient. I'm talking about ancient arts that existed during the time of magic.
The breathing style techniques look like an elemental swordsmen to him. They were blade wielded who channeled elements through their body rather than use mana and they couldn't use a semblance which was just a scrap of magic.
Alice was normal to him as she just practiced a unique staff art and had an impressive palate. The problem was Logan, hand to hand arts like what he used are minimal in the current society of remnant as they all focused on styles to fight Grimm. Back when he was Ozma he'd faced numerous fighters so to him Logan looked like a mashed up version of them who sprinkled in bits of the best styles to make himself more deadly. Not to mention how strong his body is both with and without his aura.
The trust complex he'd developed over the eons was in full swing as he studied these teens that were messing around in the aircraft. Giyu was blowing into a gourd for some reason, mogana was researching swimwear, Alice was eating cotton candy and Logan was sleeping while using his tiger jacket as a blanket.
A few hours they touched down and the quartet rolled out of the aircraft to witness to school built from gears. The whole complex resembled a disassembled clock stacked together with ancient brick to form a medieval castle the likes that the four couldn't conceive. Rather than get into trouble the four chose to wander into the hall avoiding ruby and Weiss' meeting.
They generally spent their time educating giyu who was unfamiliar with an educational environment. Despite being a man of few words he did have curiosity. They listened to ozpin and glynda give a little speech but Logan chuned him out to look for cast members. There were some unfamiliar faces here who he assumed get weeded out tomorrow or are just generally not covered in the series.
He does spot the main cast, cardin, some of the teachers, team cfvy and several cameras. He'll need to deal with those. Ozpin finished up his speech and then directed the students to the mess hall while glynda gave a tour of the facilities. People kept to themselves during the tour as they have no idea whether the school is competitive over positions or not. The group chat members mainly listened to Alice about how crappy the food is which the kitchen staff heard.
They then witnessed her start a shokugeki against the old dinner ladies with the other three being taste testers. Dinner ladies made a nice lasagna but to people who'd tasted food wars and ichiraku ramen it was nothing more than a microwave lasagna. Alice however went all out and made sloppy joes to the best of her abilities. Mogana moaned and giyu stripped his upper uniform showing a carved chest. Logan however was unaffected as he himself is a decent cook. He cooks for his family so naturally took advantage of his gifts to study several cooking skills.
He picked up knife work like a fish to water, his enhanced memory pet him memorise hundreds of ingredient prep methods. Alice took his lack of over dramatic response as an insult so decided she would be cooking his meals till he had a foodgasm. Logan however just thought to himself "yesssss free food".
To end the night off the first years were gathered in the hall for a mass slumber party. The other decided to split off to make friends so they can assimilate into the story. Giyu waddled over towards ren and Nora as he felt he had a similar personality to ren. They got along swimmingly as he put it.
Alice went towards ruby and yang to mingle with them, with her enthusiasm and social skills it was easy to talk to them. She joined as the conversation was steered towards which boys each of them was interested in. Jaune appeared in a onesie so Alice pointed out her friends. Giyu simply slept in a tight shirt and loose pants. Mogana who had chose to speak with Pyrrha by conversing about athletic related topics was fluffed out in her PJ's.
Lastly there was Logan who slept bare chested exposing his shoulder tattoos and ripped body. Yang but her lips while ruby blushed looking at him. Yang couldn't help but ask "hey Alice is Logan spoken for?" The girl in question filleted her head and put her finger to her lips "wellll~ from what I know he's got a few friends with benefits and is open to sharing his partner with other women. At least that's what robin says. I'll have to confirm that". yang was interested in how Logan didn't mind having a bisexual partner.
She decided to tease Alice "oh ho? Robin? Who's that? Is she the woman in waiting? Do you have someone yourself Alice?" Though she was disappointed " robin is another friend of ours but she's older than us by a few years so she can't go to beacon. Also back home people assumed I was with my assistant ryo but he's more into quiet and reserved girls. Logan's more my type". Yang looked Alice up and down before looking back at Logan who was making his way towards a scrumptious looking black haired beauty.
To yang who grew up in patch away from the world this place was pure bliss. Also the fact that her sister was befriending good people quickly here showed how good it was for them. Ruby herself went back to speak with Jaune to address his sleeping wear.
Back to Logan he headed towards Blake to bond with her. "Is that spot taken miss?" He said pointing towards an empty space near her. "Knock yourself out" she said continuing to read her book. Logan unfurled his sleeping back and took a seat next to the walk a few feet away from her. Lucky for him that walk had an exposed outlet.
He opened his scroll and pulled a cable from his back pack before connecting the two together. His scroll dinged showing it was charging and connecting to the local intranet. He began typing rapidly bypassing the systems firewalls and having full access to beacons network. Blake grew a little distracted as she heard the rapid typing, she looked over at him and was amazed by the amount of data flowing through his screen.
"What are you doing?" She asked "oh just changing the channel on the TV and fixing the settings abit" he said while scrolling through security feeds and adjusting lighting in the hall making it slightly darker so people will sleep earlier. Blake was amazed as she watched him. "Names Logan btw what's yours beautiful?" Unused to the flirting she spat out "Blake belladonna".
Logan stopped typing before looking towards her then towards her bow and smirked. "Nice to meet you, that's a nice disguise you have there though I think no bow might suit you best in this place." She became alert at how he discovered her so quickly. "How?!" She hissed quietly trying not to draw attention to herself. Logan then typed again and brought up some files. "Ghira belladonna who is also the founder of the white fang. I'd researched him and agreed with his early work in the group however after his replacement took over I lost hope in the group as they became mire violent. Personally I think his way was best but needed some minor tweaking."
Blake perked up after confirming he's not a threat to her presences here. "How so?" She couldn't help but ask. Logan then turned back to her "well kitty kat, he lacked a financial backer to take on the schnees that early in the game. Hell one rich human in their side could have moved them forward decades in terms of meeting their mission statement. Next I think he wasn't spread out far enough, sticking to menagerie then branching out wasn't smart. He should have went to atlas were the discrimination is worst before working back and earning menageries support".
She pondered over his view points and could understand how they could have helped. Though as racist as it sounds for a cat Faunus. 'There is no crying over spilled milk'. They then had a conversation about the politics and psychology as well as the philosophies involved in the situation between Faunus and Humans. Blake was happy to learn that not all humans were like schnees when someone like Logan appears who is accepting. Though in his mind it's more like he can't understand how they can attack kenomimi girls just cause they have an extra survival advantage.
The conversation then stirred towards "what's that book your reading" "oh this? It's about a man with two souls that are fighting for control" "interesting like jekyll and Hyde?" "Something similar. It's quite interesting though I wish there was more in the genre." Logan then smirked "two souls huh? Tell me Blake you ever heard the story of the Incredible Hulk?"
Her eyebrows raised questioning why he was speaking about a boat. At this point ruby and Alice arrived and joined the conversation "hey Logan long time no see. Whatcha talking about?" "Sup ruby I was just about to begin telling my new friend Blake here the story of the Incredible Hulk".
"Like the boat? Is it like that tank engine show kids watch?" "Nah this is all about a dude with inner conflict and how the world is his enemy. He goes on a psychological journey while his other body makes the physical one. There's lots of explosions".
"Woah!!! Tell us" the red Cookie Monster said before sitting down and leaning into her own sleeping back ready for the story. Blake has placed her book down waiting to here the story while Alice tried to remember if she knows this story.
"All right then, it all started with a gamma explosion!"
That night several individuals were indoctrinated into the joys of the marvel universe.
