Chapter 72 - XLIV - Bonus

"Okay then, stay like this. Don't move even if I do anything," Theo warned, his tone a playful yet tender command. He nestled closer, his lips grazing the side of her neck. Without warning, he bit her, but not with the sharpness of a true bite. Instead, he sucked gently, savoring her skin with a deliberate, pleasurable pressure. Before Darcey could even think of questioning him, she felt his lips brush against her neck, the barest whisper of a touch that sent shivers through her entire body. She froze, her breath catching in her throat. Then, without warning, he bit down—not hard, but just enough to make her gasp. It wasn't a sharp bite but rather a slow, deliberate action, his lips lingering as he began to suck on her skin. The sensation was overwhelming, her skin tingling as pleasure surged through her.She was taken aback by the suddenness of it, a jolt of heat spreading through her, but her body reacted instinctively. Her left hand flew up, tangling in his hair as she let out a soft, breathless sound. Instead of pulling away, she found herself pushing him closer, her fingers curling tighter in his hair as her neck tilted to the side, offering him more of herself. She could feel him smile against her skin, a small, triumphant curve of his lips as he continued to work his mouth over her neck. He took his time, savoring every inch of her skin, alternating between sucking and grazing her flesh with his teeth in a way that made her heart race and her body tremble. She felt utterly exposed in his embrace, and yet she couldn't stop herself from wanting more. When he finally pulled away, her skin felt hot and sensitive, a tingling sensation left in the wake of his touch. He wasn't done with her, though. He pressed soft, lingering kisses along the length of her neck, each one a contrast to the sharp, teasing bites from before. His lips trailed upward until he reached her ear, where he gently licked along her earlobe, making her body jolt with an emotion she couldn't fully express—some combination of longing, joy, and relief all tangled together. Her breath hitched as she pulled away slightly, her eyes meeting his. She was still perched on his lap, her legs wrapped around his waist, but her heart felt as though it was about to burst from the sheer intensity of the moment. For so long, she had been without him, without this closeness, and now that he was here, it felt almost too good to be real. But it was real. He was real.Theo's gaze softened as he looked down at her, his thumb brushing lightly against the spot where his lips had just been. "You okay there, lil demon?" he teased, though there was a tenderness in his voice that belied his words.Darcey let out a breathless laugh, her hands still gripping his shoulders for support. "You don't play fair," she murmured, though there was no accusation in her tone—just affection.Theo's grin widened, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I never said I would," he replied, his voice low and playful. He leaned forward, brushing his lips against hers in a soft, almost teasing kiss. Theo's gaze locked with hers, a silent conversation passing between them. In that charged moment, Theo's lips crashed onto hers, their kiss fierce and full of passion.Darcey's hands roamed over his body with a sense of urgency and longing. She traced the contours of his back, sliding her hands beneath his shirt, feeling the warmth of his skin. Theo's hands, in turn, explored her body with a mixture of reverence and hunger. His touch was both gentle and fervent, caressing and pulling her closer, igniting a fire between them.As their kiss deepened, Theo's hands traveled to more forbidden places on her body. He caressed her sides, his fingers brushing against the curves of her waist and hips. Each touch was a declaration of his longing, every movement a promise of the years lost and the future they would reclaim together.Breaking the kiss reluctantly, Theo's breath was ragged. "Hey—hey. As much as I want to do this, are you sure? We can take things slowly," he said, his voice a mix of desire and concern. His eyes, dark with passion, searched hers for reassurance."Agony of hundreds of years is not enough?" Darcey replied, her voice husky and filled with a raw, unfiltered yearning. Before he could respond, she leaned in once more, capturing his lips in a heated, demanding kiss. Her words had unleashed a fierce, almost primal need within Theo. His hands roamed over her body with increased intensity, exploring every inch with a sense of urgency. His touch was firm and possessive, yet tender, as if he were trying to convey all the love and regret of the years they had lost.Darcey hands slipped further inside his shirt, feeling the strong, defined muscles beneath. Her touch ignited a fire within him, making his grip on her tighten as their bodies pressed closer. The kiss continued with a desperate hunger, their movements a symphony of passion and longing.

Darcey whispered between kisses - "Take it off " . Her command authorative making Theo smile from ear to ear .

"I like fiesty " he declared as he took his shirt off and just as Darcey was about to take her shirt off .He stopped her leaving in confusion , her eyebrows creased in confusion but it didnt last long as he continued -" Let me do it Darcey . " he whispered her name in a way that made her insides twist - like butterflies in her stomach.

Just as the heat between them reached a peak, the moment was abruptly shattered by the sound of running footsteps echoing down the hall. Darcey's senses sharpened instantly, her wolf instincts recognizing Ethan's presence before he even reached the door. She jerked back from Theo, throwing his shirt back at him and directing for him to wear it back , he was quick to notice and act leading both of them flushed, breaths heavy, heat still lingering between them as they scrambled to compose themselves.

A quick knock, then the door creaked open. Ethan entered, his brows knitting in confusion as he saw their reddened faces. "Uh... am I interrupting something?" He smirked knowingly, his gaze bouncing between the two of them.Darcey coughed, stepping away from Theo. "No—nothing. Just... nothing.Ethan looked at Theo and he came running welcoming him with a hug . - " i knew it - i knew it you will come back . " he happily clunged onto him making Theo smile and ruffle his hair from back .

Theo, still catching his breath, chuckled lowly. "I missed you to kiddo but by the way timing could use some work, Ethan."

Ethan crossed his arms, still grinning. "I'll make sure to show up a few minutes later next time.""Better late than never, I suppose." Theo shot back, his tone teasing but laced with fondness. The tension between them eased, and Darcey relaxed as the energy in the room shifted."Anyway," Ethan started, "what happened to you, Theo? I thought..." He hesitated, eyeing Theo with concern. "I thought you were... you know... gone although as i said i believed you will come back but if you were alive then why did you took so long ?"Theo's expression softened as he reached for Darceys hand, holding it tightly as if her presence anchored him. "The heavens took pity on me," he said, his voice quieter now. "The greater god of gods granted me another chance, but as a human. I wandered through the human realm, searching for a way back, not knowing where to go or how to return.""Victoria found him," Darcey added, her voice gentle. "She brought him back."Theo nodded. "And now, I'm here."Ethan blinked, still processing. "But...Lucifer you're—""Call me Theo," he corrected softly. "That's the name I want you two to know me by now. Lucifer is part of the past."Ethan stared at him for a moment, then shook his head with a smile. "Theo, huh? Fine, but it's gonna take some getting used to." He winked playfully, trying to lighten the mood.Theo grinned, his eyes flickering with mischief. "How about we make a deal? You get used to calling me Theo, and I'll forgive your bad timing."Ethan laughed. "Deal. But only because I'm the best at keeping Darcey safe, like you asked."Darcey rolled her eyes with a grin. "He's decent, I'll give him that."Theo smirked, glancing between them. "Good. Then you've done well, Ethan. Keep it up."Ethan straightened proudly, his tone still playful but with a touch of sincerity. "As always, boss."With the moment lightened, their conversation drifted into easy banter, the charged atmosphere fading into warmth. The weight of the past seemed to lift, if only for a little while.
