Diego's presence in the hospital made Gina's feelings even more mixed, all feelings coming together, gathering in her chest. Feelings of sadness, happiness, anger, disappointment and shame.
Seeing all her family members busy, Gina felt sad. She felt guilty for making all her family members share her hardships, in her heart Gina began to regret her decision to go to the supermarket yesterday morning. If yesterday she had stayed in her apartment maybe she wouldn't have met Rosa and all this mess wouldn't have happened, her family would have lived in peace.
Warm tears began to fall, down Gina's cheeks still a little pale and Diego who was talking to Charlie accidentally saw this. Instantly, Diego approached Gina.
"Why, Gina? Does your stomach hurt again? Is something bothering you?" Diego immediately bombarded Gina with several questions at once.
Gina shook her head. "I'm okay."
"Are you sure?" Diego again confirmed Gina's words.
