The only person who continued to talk during lunch was Julian, he kept the conversation going and took all his children and Massimo in turn.
"It's a pleasure to have lunch in almost complete formation like this," said Julian softly as he wiped his lips with a handkerchief. "Our supermodel is really busy," Julian teased back at Selena who was sitting on his left.
Selena pursed her lips, giving her father a fake smile. "That's because I have been busy, Daddy."
"That's why Daddy is grateful that this day has finally arrived, if Rosa was in the middle it would have been more perfect," said Julian again.
Gina, who was sitting on Julian's right, squeezed Julian's hand gently. "Rosa's a doctor, Dad. There's no way she could ask for a day off as she pleased."
"What Gina said is true, Dad," Diego chimed in suddenly after having only been such good listeners for the nearly thirty minutes they had eaten together.
