Massimo's question managed to bring Gina out of her shock.
"Now you understand why I forbid you to work? I don't want my beautiful wife to be seen by others, whatever the reason. That's why I ask you to stay at home, be a good wife to me. other than shopping for luxury goods at the mall or spending time in salons or beauty clinics, as long as you are under the supervision of my subordinates you can do all that," said Massimo softly again.

"You can do whatever you like, I won't stop it. But not with work, I won't allow that."
"B-but I just wanted to experience what it's like to make money, Massimo," Gina said quietly.
Massimo chuckled. "For what? Didn't you feel that way the first time you came to Barcelona working at the chicken shop owned by the policeman's wife, huh?"
"Yeah but that's different, I used to be just a part-timer. What I want to feel is really work, like other career women."
