Still not trusting the Sanders family, Massimo rushed after Gina. Without guilt Massimo sat between Gina and Selena, making more distance from Diego who had been trying to get closer to Gina.
"It's late, you guys aren't tired of talking all the time?"
"What night? It's only ten o'clock," said Selena amused. "In New York ten o'clock at night is all young people's time to party."
"This is Spain, not your proud America and I have hours of sleep for Gina, especially when her condition hasn't fully recovered," said Massimo curtly, not liking Selena's provocation.
"Didn't you check on Gina's condition, Rosa?" Diego asked in a half whisper to Rosa.
Rose shook her head.
"Why? You're doctor Rosa."
Massimo pursed his lips. "So what if Rosa is a doctor?"
Diego immediately turned his gaze from Rosa to Massimo.
