After a long and tiring process, Massimo was finally acquitted of all charges against him, Martin and his team of lawyers were able to show evidence that the process of purchasing the land that was evicted from the former settlement was carried out correctly and in accordance with the applicable law in Spain. The allegation that Massimo was the mastermind behind the eviction was proven to be untrue, his name is now clean again.
Several media outlets that previously vilified Massimo immediately posted official apologies on their respective websites, it seems they are afraid of getting back demands from Massimo like what happened to 50 heads of families who were previously evicted. Currently they are all being questioned by the police after Martin sued them back for defamation of Massimo del Cano.
