Meeting Lucas again made Selena more reserved, she who was previously so excited to shop at the mall suddenly became quiet.
"You look pretty good, Luke," Massimo said quietly, praising Lucas honestly. "You look much better than the last time we met."
Lucas smiled. "I've moved on from all the bitterness that happened to me, Massimo."
"You must, you must continue to live well. Besides, your child is now in a good place, gathered with her mother up there," said Massimo again.
Gina immediately gripped Massimo's arm tightly as soon as he finished speaking, Gina was afraid that Lucas would be offended by Massimo's words.
"It's ok, Gina. I'm fine, what your husband said is true. I have to move on with my life." Lucas immediately spoke, responding to what Gina had done to Massimo.
Gina turned to Lucas quickly. "Are you really all right? Have you gotten over Giovana?"
