The path was lined with trees, and, to Li Qingcang, the path was both long and short.
There was an especially large banyan tree at the end of the path.
There were several thin red ribbons hanging on the branches of the banyan tree. The red ribbons fluttered in the night breeze.
The lights under the tree shone on the treetop, making the ribbons on the branches look particularly festive.
"Hey, Elder Brother Li, is that a wishing tree?"
"Yep."
Ye Tianxin walked toward the tree and looked up. She admired how tall it was. She had no idea that there was such an enormous wishing tree here.
"It's such a pity that the management office has already closed for the day. I couldn't buy a red ribbon to tie in there."
There was a hint of regret in Ye Tianxin's voice.
Actually, Li Qingcang wanted to dissuade Ye Tianxin because wishing on a tree wouldn't change anything.
'Wishing' had no scientific basis after all.
