Huo Yao glanced at the pills in Yuan Xi's hands and narrowed her eyes solemnly. She asked. "Have you been taking these pills for a long time?"
Yuan Xi picked up a glass of water from the side and took a sip. "Uh huh. It is really good for my cough."
"Since you haven't recovered fully after taking these meds, why don't you consider taking something else?" asked Huo Yao.
Yuan Xi paused briefly. Her mother had prepared the medication, so it did not dawn on her that perhaps it was time to try something else. She promptly replied. "I wouldn't say it doesn't work entirely. I suppose I am to blame since I don't take them regularly."
Recently, the atmosphere at home felt suffocating, so she was unable to take good care of herself.
"You don't always need medication when you're sick. Sometimes, people recover more quickly without meds," suggested Huo Yao.
