Yun Hua hated Su He in her previous life. She thought God favored Su He.
Su He was Qi Ziheng's childhood sweetheart and came from an outstanding family. Even after so many years of occupying Qi Ziheng's side and forbidding any girls to come near him, Qi Ziheng had never tired of her.
On top of that, Su He was a beauty with a great body; she was also extremely skilled at classical dance. It made one jealous.
The most special thing about Su He was her temperament.
She was the perfect lady as long as it didn't involve Qi Ziheng. Once he became involved, Su He would become a wild shrew in the blink of an eye.
What made Yun Hua more jealous was that Su He was unlike Xiao Ruyue—who looked nice on the outside but rotten on the inside, always pretending to be an innocent girl. Su He never tried to hide her possessiveness of Qi Ziheng from anyone.
Even when she was with Qi Ziheng, Su He never bothered putting on a pretense or controlling her possessiveness. Take this moment for example—Su He was hugging onto Qi Ziheng's elbow while she glared at Yun Hua defensively.
Qi Ziheng's smile remained warm and friendly. However, Su He's eyes were on the verge of spitting fire.
From her expression, one could tell she was dying to swallow Yun Hua whole. "You better explain yourself clearly. Do you think you are worthy of the Qi family?"
Su He didn't mince her words in front of Qi Ziheng.
He didn't feel offended by her words too.
Yun Hua hated this in her last life.
Why should she behave in front of Qi Ziheng and allow him to show his disappointment at the slightest mistake when Su He could do as she wished? Her possessiveness was written all over her face.
Nevertheless, Yun Hua actually admired the way Su He was acting now.
Compared to Xiao Ruyue, the great pretender, Su He was more open and generous when she held a grudge against Yun Hua.
At the very least, one never had to worry about being stabbed in the back by Su He when one went up against her.
Yun Hua smiled. "I'm sure Qi Ziheng knows what is going on. Why don't you ask him about the marriage agreement?"
Su He bit her lip and looked at Qi Ziheng with unease.
He patted her hand and turned towards Yun Hua again. "It's true that I know about our marriage agreement. Grandpa Yun was my grandfather's benefactor. The agreement was made between the two elderly."
"So, do you intend to honor it?" asked Yun Hua directly without care for courtesy.
"Of course not!" An irate Su He furiously glared at Yun Hua without waiting for Qi Ziheng's reply. "It happened so many years ago. Arranged marriages are not the trend now. Ziheng would never honor such a silly engagement. Am I right, Ziheng?"
Yun Hua smiled but didn't respond.
Qi Ziheng appeared to be helpless as he reached out and pinched Su He's cheek. "Alright now. There's no need to be upset. This is not a simple matter."
Qi Ziheng looked at Yun Hua again. He smiled and asked, "How old are you? Twelve? Thirteen? Why are you in such a rush to marry?"
Yun Hua's mouth twitched.
She still had tons of baby fat on her at the moment. Although her features were exquisite and beautiful, the baby fat made her look younger, unlike Su He—who was already a gorgeous grown-up woman.
There was nothing she could do. After all, she was only 13 years old. She didn't have an advantage, unlike Su He—who was 18 and a dancer.
Su He was shocked too. She stared at Yun Hua with bulging eyes. "You're only 13? With such a huge age gap, you're not compatible with him. You should give up before it's too late."
