Xue Qiu was halfway to his destination when he suddenly slammed on the brakes, his fur puffing up in all directions.
A snake...
Damn, that's a huge snake!
A natural enemy!
Xue Qiu screamed, 'Ancestor, don't you love me anymore? Bringing such a giant snake to eat me.'
Bai Chuwei pondered, she seemed to have never really loved this chubby hamster anyway.
Bai Chuwei swatted the giant black snake away with a slap and, with a gentle beckon, Xue Qiu quickly scurried into the palm of her hand.
It wasn't her pet, after all, so it didn't matter if she hit it.
Bai Chuwei weighed him thoughtfully, pleased with herself, "It seems that the recent wheel runs and diet meals are starting to pay off."
He was a bit lighter, though not by a significant amount.
Bai Chuwei looked at Xue Qiu in her palm and then at the giant black snake curled up in a ball, sighing deeply.
Even though they're both pets, why is there such a huge difference?
