Xue Qiu quickly finished off the last french fry, his cheeks bulging like two little balls.
Bai Chuwei took out a palm-sized folding computer from her pocket, gently pushed it open, and revealed a small keyboard that was just the right size for Xue Qiu, the hamster.
Xue Qiu looked up, a hint of sympathy in his eyes, "Ancestor, are you really going to do this? Do you have a grudge against Xu Xingchen?"
Bai Chuwei nodded lazily, "Yeah, there's a grudge."
Having been enlightened by Bai Chuwei for twenty years on Yunwu Mountain and spending all day with her, Xue Qiu could be considered the creature most familiar with her. However, it still didn't know they were in a world contained within a book, where Xu Xingchen, that goddamn male lead, had once done a series of evil things to her in the book.
Xue Qiu energetically tapped away at the keyboard while Bai Chuwei leaned lazily nearby, sipping red wine.
