Slowemperor was the first tier 3 king-rank Pokemon that Axel ever had. It had evolved further and its new moves and abilities were insane. Yet, it had still not reached pseudo-champion rank.
Axel came to realize that there was a huge difference between a tier 3 king rank Pokemon and a pseudo-champion-rank Pokemon. It was not that Slowemperor was training too hard.
Its nature was very mild but it was very arrogant too. It was not a king Pokemon but an emperor Pokemon. It had the right to be arrogant. So, it didn't spend much time on training but that didn't mean that it was wasting its time.
Slowemperor was first getting used to its new form, its ability 'Monarch', and its new move 'Monarch indifference'.
Till now, Slowemperor had not used the move 'Monarch indifference'. The system had said that Axel could not tell Slowemperor to use this move. This would have to be used by the user itself on its own violation. The description of the move was simple but it was overpowered. The move basically said that Slowemperor would do anything to achieve its goals.
It had mastered its psychic core but the power of its 'Frost giant' was focused on the ice path. So, both of them thought to focus on both things. Ice and psychic.
The way of training its psychic direction will be available after the tide battle and then Axel believed that its power level would take a great leap.
Slowemperor had not been able to further improve 'Monarch'. That would take some time. But it had been able to upgrade 'Frost giant' to a new level.

Stage I: Mastery speed and the power of ice-type moves will increase by 20%. The user can actively use the move 'Frost Giant' where the size of the user would increase by 1.5 times. During that time, the defense and special defense of the user would be heightened to a high degree. The cooldown period for using it actively is 1 month.

First of all, its hidden ability 'Regenerator' had been mastered. This happened soon after it received the second blessing.

Regenerator (Slowemperor): Slowemperor doesn't need to be inside the ball to heal. It could also do it while resting outside. The speed of the healing has increased.

The second thing that was surprsing were its stats which had grown a lot and now some of them were also going to reach SS rank. The requirements for rank up was SS rank for the king rank Pokemon. Axel didn't know the requirement for pseudo-champion rank but it must be higher than that.
Slowemperor also did a lot in the moves department. First of all, it had learned multiple ice-type moves. Axel believed that ice type moves would be very versatile for Slowemperor.
So, it learned, 'Aurora Veil', 'Blizzard', 'Frost Breath', 'Hail', 'Ice ball', 'Icicle spear', and 'Icy wind'. Some of them even reached levels 40 and 45.

Aurora Veil (Slowemperor) (Level 40): During the hail, the move would cover the body of the user and make it transparent. This is make it difficult for the enemy to spot it.
Blizzard (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The power and the furiosity of the move had increased. It can also be focused to be used on a single direction which would increase the power even more.
(Level 45): Has a high chance to freeze the target.
Frost Breath (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The penetration power of the move has increased. This had a chance to make the enemy fall into frost poison.
Icicle spear (Slowemperor) (Level 40): Can take out all the 5 icicle spear which could be rushed towards the target. The speed of the attack has increased.
(Level 45): Those spears made of ice could be spin which would improve their penetrating power.
Icy Wind (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The power of this move would increase if it is used after using the move 'Hail'. The chance to freeze the target would increase.
(Level 45): Using this move during 'Hail', the icy aura of the move would suck the life of the enemy slowly which would decrease its health. Can be activated for 8 minutes.

Yet, this was the only progress that it had made. It had also progressed on existing moves too.

Amnesia (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The user would instantly empty their mind and then only focus on one thing. The critical hit ratio will dramatically increase and the next attack on the user will also dramatically increase. This will take 5 seconds and the user will be vulnerable in that period.
(Level 45): Using this and 'Monarch indifference' would create something magical and impossible. The power of the user will reach a new height. However, the move is not recommended as it is unsure when the user will turn to normal.
Future sight (Slowking) (Level 40): The time of the move activation is reduced to 10 minutes
(Level 45): The time of the move activation is reduced to 5 minutes. However, the power of the move has decreased.
(Level 50): The power of the move has increased.
(Level 55): The time of the move has decreased to 3 minutes and the power of the move has increased.
(Level 60): Slowemperor could shortly teleport the enemy to the desired place. The distance of the user and then enemy could not be more than 1 km.
Rain dance (Slowking) (Level 40): The duration of the rain dance has increased to level 8 minutes
(Level 45): The duration of the rain dance has increased to level 10 minutes.
(Level 50): The Rain is more heavier and sharper than before.
(Level 55): The power of the move have increased. The user have to utilize less stamina and the effect of the move have increased too. There is trace of ice while using the move.
(Level 60): The move would also increase the power of ice type move by 50%.
Slack off (Slowking) (Level 40): It could recover 30% of its max HP 1 time
(Level 45): It could recover 40% of its max HP 1 time
(Level 50): It could recover 50% of its max HP 1 time
(Level 55): It could now recover 60% of its max HP 1 time.
Calm mind (Slowking) (Level 40): It could now use it 4 times.
(Level 45): It could use the move very fast.
(Level 50): It would spread out a bulb of psychic ball and scatter it around the battle field. Slowbro could then get close to those ball of psychic energy and use 'Calm mind'.
(Level 55): Can spread out 10 bulbs of psychic energy instead of 5.
(Level 60): If the bulb of those psychic energy hits the target, then the mental state of the target will be compromised and there is a high chance that the target will enter into the illusion.

The introduction of ice-type moves, 'Monarch indifference', and other new things completely changed the way that it fights. The upgrade on 'Future sight' had also been substantial.
"Magnus, I think we have invested quite some time in ice-type moves. It is now time for you to think about your psychic-type moves. Especially about your illusion.
You want to focus on illusion. So, you must do something to make it stronger. Your offensive power is already very strong enough. The thing that you need to focus on right now are your defense, healing, and speed."
Being an emperor, Axel had noticed that the defensive power of Slowemperor had increased by a lot. But it only had one healing move and that was 'Slack off'. It was true that Slowemperor didn't need a healing move. Because, in tides, it could have Pokemons like Venusaur, that would heal it and during single battles, its defensive power could last for a long time.
So, for Slowemperor, Axel decided that it should focus on defensive moves and also its speed.
"That would take some time. As of right now, we only have 3 weeks. So, during that time, you will only focus on your defensive move. We will create a new move for you and you will also focus on upgrading 'Aurora Veil'."
That was the conclusion that Axel came up with. A strong defense was always welcomed in the tide battle. This would let the Pokemon last longer in the tide which was very much needed.
Axel had finally made all the plans for his senior Pokemons and now was the time to think about junior Pokemons. Of course, Pokemons like Magnemite and Wartortle would not participate in the tide battle. Arron was out of the question but Pokemons like Aerodactyl, Togetic, Feraligatr, Lucario, Primeape, and Salamence would participate in the tide battle and they needed to be trained properly.
Some of them were already elemental rank Pokemon while some of them were getting there. Axel didn't want Salamence to be part of the tide battle as it was not even a rare rank Pokemon but he figured that it needed this tide battle more for good experience.
Being a dragon-type Pokemon, it would grow slowly but it would also become stronger than others in every rank. It had its pride and its pride would not let it sit down while others fight.
"Gogoat, you will closely monitor Pokemons like Feraligatr, Lucario, and Salamence. They are the ones that need attention right now.", said Axel to Gogoat.
Axel also decided that Lucario should participate in the battle. He didn't know how powerful it would become after being trained in the Aeus island but Axel believed that it was ready for the tide battle.
"Alright guys, let's start the training. We need to get ready for the tide battle.", said Axel to everyone.
