His stats were now very difficult to increase. It was true that Axel had not scaled up his own training process. He had his trusted sword that he had bought a long time ago.

He now thought that this sword needed to be changed. It was of very low quality, and he could now afford an expensive sword. He would also practice his swordsmanship seriously from now on.

Till now, he was just swinging his sword with different postures and hitting trees and rocks. However, he felt that now was the time to learn proper swordsmanship.

The tide had opened his eyes and made him realize that his personal strength was also very important if he wanted to survive.

He called out Mark to ask if there were any training manuals for swordsmanship.

The result was very positive. More than positive. Mark listed out a range of training manuals. Some of them were so advanced that a person could kill king rank Pokemon after mastering it.

"Who invented this type of swordsmanship? That is crazy," shouted Axel.

"These types of training manuals came from ancient times when humans didn't have a proper way to control Pokemons, and they had to defend themselves. It had been passed down from generation to generation.

However, currently, no one gives so much time to practice these arts, and for the right reason too. Humans have now gained knowledge on how to train Pokemons and how to fend for themselves.

So, which do you want to choose?"

"Give me a basic training sword training manual. I just want to defend myself," said Axel with a sigh.

He was not going to devote all this time learning it. He just wanted to defend and run away from dangers when the time came. He had the support of his Pokemons.

"All right, I would give you this. It is called 'Heaven's Fall'. This is a basic training manual, but if you want to learn the most advanced training manual in the future, you would have no problem doing it. The guy who invented the advance training manual made this 'Heaven's Fall'."

"Send me a copy of that in the mail. Thank you again, Mark."

Axel looked at his active skills. He first thought to train his first skill 'Identify'.

It was a good skill to have. He had repeatedly realized the value of this skill.

The skill would level up in 2 ways. If he were to repeatedly use it many times or if he were able to identify some unique things that he had not seen before.

Aura skills also needed to be trained. He had not been serious about it, but he knew that they would be valuable in the future.

After thinking about it for some time, he started to train himself.

###

The next day,

SPLASHHHHHHH!!!

"Gyarados, don't only focus on power but also manipulation. You would have to cut that water in half. There should be no splashing of water," instructed Axel.

It was early in the morning, and Gyarados was training its 'Aqua tail'. It would take some time until it could properly master it.

Training underwater had many advantages. It was very hard to use a move in water. This training would further increase the power of its tail.

"Venusaur, first of all, you would train 'Sunny day' and 'Synthesis' to level 40.

Your 'Sunny day' lasts for 5 minutes. Try to increase the time of it to 10 minutes. I know it would be hard as it is a fire type move. Don't use the full power of 'Sunny day' at the beginning. Use less power but try to hold for more time.

Tomorrow, you would train in 'Synthesis'."

"Venu…", it said.

Axel wanted Venusaur to heal instantly like Hasirama without using 'Sunny day'. He had thought of an interesting idea for it. However, to complete it, it had to level up 'Sunny day' and increase the duration of the move.

After giving it some instructions, he moved towards Gogoat.

"Gogoat, come here. I have thought of a new move for you."

"Go… Gogoat."

There were a lot of things to do before Gogoat could challenge Hypno. It had to level up a lot of its moves to level 45, learn a new move, master its ability, and also train other moves.

Axel also realized that he would have to create a domain for his Pseudo-king rank Pokemons. Mamoswine and Shedinja already had their pre-domains, and that was enough.

"Now that you are a pseudo-king rank Pokemon, you need to create your pre-domain. The domain doesn't need to be almighty, but it should be something that you can freely control and power up yourselves.

Start with leveling 'Grassy terrain' to level 45. Level 45 should increase your health by a good margin, and it should also create a lot of grass around you.

After that is accomplished. You should be able to freely control the grass. Think of it like another version of 'Field control'. However, the grass should be sharp with minuscule blades on each of them. They should be able to hurt your enemy but not yourself."

That was the domain that Axel had thought for Gogoat. It started to envision what Axel had said and started to train. Of course, it could do all those things in a few minutes. Axel told it to go slow.

After telling Gogoat what to do, he called out Beedrill. Beedrill also had to learn a new move. He took his phone and called Amanda.

"Where are you right now?" asked Axel.

"Just give me 5 minutes, I am already there. Why are you hiding so far in Viridian forest?" complained Amanda.

During the exploration, Amanda had caught Butterfree, who was a pseudo-king rank Pokemon. It was a powerful Pokemon and it knew 3 new moves.

'Fire conversion', 'Bug life', and 'String pierce'.

Axel had fought with it, and Amanda had caught it. As a compensation, he had asked her to teach these moves to this Pokemons. That was why Amanda was coming here.

To teach Beedrill.

"Huff.. Huff… Damn you, Axel. You are hiding very far. It took me a lot to get here," said Amanda.

"I gave you the GPS location. Why were you lost?"

"I was not lost. But I had to avoid all these king rank Pokemons. All right, which Pokemon should I teach the moves?"

"That would be Beedrill. Start with 'String pierce'."

Beedrill had a good amount of experience in 'String shot'. So, it would take less time to learn this move. The other 2 moves would take some time.

'String pierce' would basically cover the Pokemon with strings and pierce them from inside with pointy thorny strings. It was a powerful move if used well.

Beedrill was lacking a good attacking move, and this might solve it.

Beedrill learned the new move in 1 hour. Axel patted its head to give it a compliment.

"Now, you must learn 'Fire conversion'," said Axel.

'Fire conversion' was an interesting move. It would convert fire-type attacks to bug type energy and store it inside the Pokemon to use it in the future.

For this move, they needed the help of Charizard. However, the power of Charizard's flames could not be used to train. It was too hot. So, they had to ask Alakazam for help.

After telling his Pokemons what to do, he started to train heavily. He had already read the book yesterday. The book was not very thick. It contained a number of stances that should be perfected and some complicated sword moves that must be mastered.

Axel realized that he would take more than a month to reach the basic mastery of swordsmanship. He was okay with it. It was not that he was going to fight till death with someone in the near future.

The training was very harsh for the Pokemon. Yet Axel encouraged them to do it. They were allowed to take breaks but not allowed to give up.

Unlike humans, Pokemons could adapt very well in these kinds of situations.

It was already evening, but Beedrill was still not able to learn 'Fire conversion'. They had a month, so Axel was not worried about it.

Gogoat was finally able to level up 'Grassy terrain' to level 45. After leveling it up to 45, the move was able to passively heal it much better than before. The quantity of grass also increased to a good level. However, it was still not able to freely control the grass as Axel expected.
