A/N: Apologies for the late update. The electricity was out for the whole night in my area.

There were 50 King rank Pokémon that had attacked Angela's team. In that battle, they had killed 10 of them. Axel had captured 5 of them, and 17 were used to heal their Pokémon. Unfortunately, 7 of those 17 Pokémon died from exhaustion. Axel had managed to capture the remaining 10.
Axel now had 15 King rank Pokémon with him, which was an astonishing number. Although he wasn't planning to use them as part of his team, he felt tempted to do so.
Among the initial 50 King rank Pokémon, only 18 were left. They were unsure if there were more, but the possibility seemed unlikely. The disappearance of 22 King rank Pokémon must have been noticed by the pseudo-champion rank Pokémon. They were already aware of the situation.
During their last encounter, the pseudo-champion rank Alakazam had spotted them. However, Axel and his Alakazam were quick to react and were saved by mass teleportation. Although the enemy now knew of their presence, they didn't know their exact location.
That's why they had patiently waited for three more days before the next capture.
"Only Hitmonlee, the leader's Pokémon, is left to be healed. All the Pokémon from elemental rank to pseudo-champion rank have already been healed. Can't we just use mass teleport now?" asked K.
Considering that the enemy was already aware of them, why should they take the risk of going out again?
"You're right, K, but we know nothing about this forest. We are in the unknown. The power of a pseudo-champion rank Pokémon would truly help us in battle. So, we must do it. Even if we face that Alakazam again, we will be prepared this time. My Tyranitar is not so weak," replied Adam.
This time, they were going prepared. Tyranitar, Magmar, and Electabuzz, all in the pseudo-champion rank, would lead the team. Axel and Adam would be the only ones going, as it would be difficult for Alakazam to mass teleport more people.
Adam also had Scizor, a King rank Pokémon, and a Pidgeot in pseudo-king rank. Axel also had his team of strong Pokémon.
"Wish us luck, K. Let's meet on the other side," said Axel.
"You don't have to be so dramatic. Just return safely."
SWOCHHHH….
###
Since they had eliminated all the King rank Pokémon in the vicinity, Alakazam couldn't sense any more of them with its psychic powers. They had to go on a search.
After doing this multiple times, Adam and Axel had become experts in hiding and running. If they saw any Pokémon that didn't match their criteria, they would sneakily run away.
Their speed was impressive. Axel rode his Tauros, and Adam rode his Rapidash. Despite Rapidash's body being covered in flames, Adam remained unharmed. It was an elemental rank Pokémon and appeared strong to Axel.
After running and searching for three hours, they finally found a lone King rank Pokémon.
It was Lapras. Lapras were typically found near water sources, but this Lapras was inside a forest. Its mobility on land would be limited, making it an easy capture.
Moreover, it was alone. Axel and Adam wanted to capture it quickly and return as fast as possible.
Without wasting any time, all three pseudo-champion rank Pokémon attacked Lapras. It was a surprise attack, and Lapras couldn't comprehend what was happening. It took a heavy hit within 30 seconds.
"Axel, capture it with your master ball, and we will teleport," said Adam.
Axel nodded, but suddenly they heard anoise, growing clearer and louder. The ground started to shake, resembling a mini-earthquake. It wasn't just one Pokémon, but multiple. Axel and Adam realized they had been trapped. Lapras, being a water-type Pokémon, shouldn't have been found in the forest. They had fallen into a trap.
Within seconds, Axel and Adam could see their opponents. There were around 20 elemental rank Pokémon, 7 pseudo-king rank Pokémon, and a Pseudo-champion rank Pokémon—Alakazam.
It wasn't as large a group as before, but they were still outnumbered.
"YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN KILL ALL OF MY KING RANK POKÉMONS AND RETURN ALIVE!" shouted Alakazam.
As a pseudo-champion rank Pokémon, Alakazam could fluently speak the human language. Each pseudo-champion rank Pokémon had its own area to control, and this was Alakazam's domain. All of its King rank Pokémon had been captured by Axel and the team. Among the 10 pseudo-champion rank Pokémon, 4 had died during the battle with Angela's team.
Alakazam was the strongest among them, and it had 25 King rank Pokémon by its side. That was almost half of all the King rank Pokémon, but mysteriously, they had all disappeared within a week.
Being a pseudo-champion rank Pokémon, it didn't care if one or two of them died. Normally, it didn't even communicate with them. They were merely a force for it to show off to other pseudo-champion ranks. But now, all of them had disappeared, severely affecting the food chain in its area.
Alakazam was furious. Initially, it had considered humans to be playthings and didn't pay much attention to them. But now, after witnessing the destruction they had caused, it sought revenge.
Just as Axel's Alakazam was about to use mass teleportation, the enemy Alakazam did something, rendering Axel's Alakazam unable to perform the move.
The enemy Alakazam had decided to bathe this place in blood.
