"hmm, okies... Anderson this is Del" she said smiling
"Nice to finally meet you" he said a smal smile plastered across his face
"Same. So what are we having" i asked trying to change topics as i signalled for a waiter
"Uhhh... I'll have two cream puffs, two cannoli, one apple pie. oh oh and a slice of chocolate tart" she said not even looking at the menu
"And.... a cup of mocha" she added smiling at the stunned waiter who looked like he was being told the krabby patty secret formula
"I'll have a cup of cafe au lait and a fruit tart" i said looking at the menu then at the waiter
"Choe I still have trouble understanding where all the food you eat goes" I said chuckling
"What! I didn't order much" she said rolling her eyes
"I'll have a cup of mocha as well" Anderson said giving the waiter a small nod"
"Maybe I'm being a crazy friend, but something really in't right with him and I'm gonna find out what it is" i thought to myself as I watched him whisper into Chloe's ear causing her to giggle
Moments later he got up walking towards the door and then out for the cafe
"Okay spill it Del ,you don't like him?"
"No no that's not it" I said trying to sound believable
" Then what is it?"
"I don't know I've got a lot on my mind lately Clo, Dad's getting worse and-" I was cut off by the waiter as he dropped our orders which was mostly Chloe's
"And what?" She asked reaching for my hand
"Nothing, nothing I can't handle"
"Del you really have to start putting those walls down, I'm your bestfriend. Yeah we've known each other for only a few years but still you know you can tell me anything right?" She said her eyes showing worry and care
But how do I tell my bestfriend I'm the head of the world's second largest drug cartel and that I'm engaged to a drug Lord, I've lost a lot of people, I can't bare loosing her too
"I know Chloe, and I'm okay really I've been a little stressed thats all" I said giving her a small smile in hopes that's would believe me
"Fine, right now I have to start eating I'm sooooo hungry" she said looking at the creampuffs that were placed on the table
"Me too" I said laughing at how eager she was to start eating
ANDERSON'S POV
I walked out of the small cafe walking towards my car
"I swear if I have to put on this Mr nice guy act one more time I'll kill myself" I thought to myself as I unlocked the car and reached for a blunt I had kept earlier
"Damn look at that ass" I thought to myself as a watched a girl walk passed, the sound of my phone ringing brought me out of my not so nice thought

Unknown: No, keep an eye on her wherever she goes you go, I want as much information as I can get and I want those bugs planted on her as soon as possible, mess up and you know what happens. Sooner or later I will have her

I walked back into the cafe taking my seat as I watched the two talking
"How the fuck am I gonna get these bugs on her" I whispered to myself as i walked towards the seat
I spent the rest one hour listening to them bicker about random matters that had no meaning to me as I waited patiently to get out
DELILAH'S POV
Hours later we finished eating and I had to go home
It's been about a month since I and Chloe had a chance to sit and chat mainly because I didn't want her to know I was no longer staying at my house, because I knew for sure she'd make me explain why I wasn't staying home
I gave Chloe a hug before entering my car as I drove off feeling weirdly uncomfortable with the idea of her being with Anderson
When I got home the smell of roasted chicken fanned the house causing my mouth to water as I walked into the kitchen to see a mature lady that looked to be in her late fifties cooking
"Hi" I said looking at her as she chopped some carrots
"Oh my, you're beautiful" she said looking at me from head to toes
Just as I was about to reply something else caught my attention. Alonzo walked out of what looked to be the store with a kitchen Rob wrapped around his waist and a jar in his arms
The surprise in his eyes was obvious when he saw me, as I tried to keep myself from laughing
"Uhh.. Del this is Luisa" he said after droping the jar he was holding
"Nice to meet you, I said smiling at the matured lady chopping carrots"
"Can I help with anything?" I asked as I dropped my purse
"Yes dear, how about you wash those veges she said pointing at them"
I gave her a small nod and then started to wash the greens
"Isa can I go now, I have some work to finish" Alonzo asked, his voice cool like an eight years old child begging to go out to play
"No, pass me the ingredients from that cabinet and then you can go" she said not even looking at him as he walked towards the carbinet and reached for what she asked
Did this lady just talk to him like that?..and he asked for permission to go do his work... am I hallucinating?" I thought to myself as I continued washing
About am hour later the food was ready and I had gotten to know a little about Luisa, she used to be Alonzo's nanny, they became close and ever since they stayed close, from the way she spoke of him I knew she loved him like a son and I knew he loved her equally
We fixed the table getting ready to eat, I wasn't really hungry but I never miss out on a chance to eat meat
Moments later he walked into the dining room in jeans and a shirt that fit on his body like a second layer of skin causing his biceps to peak through the shirt
For the first time I could sense a feeling of comfort from him, his face didn't look as though as before and his movement more relaxed.
After lunch I decided to go to my room for a quick nap, just as I was about to close my eyes a knock sounded on the door, I walked towards the door tired and in the mood to sleep
"Who is it?"
"Alonzo" his masculine voice said causing my sleepiness to go away
"Hey, do you need something?" I asked peaking my heard through the little crack I had made on the door
"No, but I have something to tell you, can I come in?" He asked looking at me
"Uhh... Yeah come in' I said as I opened the door wider
He walked towards my bed sitting on the edge ignoring the chair that was close to him
"We have a meeting"
"We?" I asked confused
" I thought the council said I would not be in charge of my cartel until after the... Wedding"
"Yes, Gael was murdered in his home by the El Diablo cartel, we believe it was a final message, two of my men were killed by them, apparently we weren't the only ones on their target list
The council is holding a meeting tomorrow, we and the rest cartel heads have to be there" he said sounding a little too serious
Gael was my father's right hand man he was put in charge to head the cartel until After my marriage to Alonzo, my father's best friend and a man that was like a father to me
"He's dead, he's dead?" I said with an faint voice feeling my legs tremble underneath me
I made my way to the chair, gently sitting down as I took in the information I had just received when the sound of my phone ringing caught my attention
