Aman and Mei Wei strolled inside the manor, looking closely at the staff and the workers. They wanted to find a clue or a suspect about these mysterious deaths.
Strangely enough, no servant made eye contact with them. They only spoke when they were asked any questions. Aman felt that it was somewhat strange. As they walked outside of the manor to the front gardens, Aman discussed this matter with Mei Wei. His voice was low so nobody could hear him. "My prince, don't you think that the people of this village are acting strange?"
Mei Wei frowned, "I also noticed that. They don't seem fazed or worried about the young man's heinous death! As if it's normal for them! And – and more importantly, they almost seemed relieved and happy after looking at the body of the dead male!"
Aman nodded, "Yes, even I am confused about their relieved looks! I guess we can only know about this when we meet the villagers."
