Sarparaja Tanay looked at Mei Wei with a cold gaze.
"The biggest issue I have is that my son has to leave his realm, his world. This humble king wouldn't like it if his son left him again."
Mei Wei looked at Sarparaja and found that his eyes held a killing intent.
Coldness flashed in Tanay's eyes as he took out the dagger from his waist. The shining silver gleamed in sunlight.
Mei Wei was shocked when Tanay looked at him and slashed the dagger in his direction.
Mei Wei clenched his eyes shut. He was ready to feel the pain and the feeling of a cold metal slamming inside him. But the expected pain never came; instead, he heard a loud clang.
His eyelids trembled when he opened them. Soon he was shocked to find a wooden spear with a very sharp tip lying on the ground; it was cut into two pieces.
One of the guards yelled loudly, "Imperial guards! Gather around! We are under an attack!"
