Suddenly, the entire living room was lit up again.
The electricity was back.
Aman, Galen, and Mei Wei were surprised by Alex's scream. They quickly ran towards the mirror and found Alex passed out on the ground.
"Alex!" They yelled and ran towards him.
Galen quickly reached out to Alex and knelt on the ground. He checked the other's pulse as a wave of relief washed over him.
He informed them, "He is only unconscious."
Mei Wei frowned. "But what happened to him?"
Galen shook his head. "I don't know about that. He might have seen something shocking."
"Let's—let's take him to his room," Aman suggested.
Alex was a big man, and though Mei Wei could take him back alone, Aman still tried to help him. Both of them supported Alex from either side and dragged him back to his room.
Galen, who was walking behind him, felt that a pair of eyes were looking at them as he walked. He turned sharply, but there was no one.
