The flying winged horses used by the royal army were very fast. In half a day, the caravan had already reached the border of Kashya city, the capital of the Vasuki Empire.

The Red Fort, as its name suggests, is made of red bricks. It's situated on the border of Kashya City. Apart from serving the purpose of protecting the city, it also serves various other purposes. One of which was being a temporary guesthouse for the royal guests.
There is a rule in the Royal Family that a Royal Family member or any aristocrat or a person invited by the Royal Family themselves cannot enter the palace unannounced; they must tell the palace beforehand and wait while the palace people make appropriate arrangements for their arrival.
So this border fort provides a temporary residence to those people.
