"I don't know why I always see you as the girl I like," Evan whispered which instantly made Luci freeze.
"What do you mean?" asked Luci who had gently pushed Evan's body to stop to hug her.
This time Evan didn't seem nervous in answering. He didn't want to hide what he was feeling at all. "Your scent," Evan curtly. "You scent the same as that girl."
Luci gaped. On the protrusion of the roots of the tree, she seemed to be supporting her body on a large and wide pillar. Or maybe she was like a ruler of the tree itself, judging by her confident sitting style.
"Wow, great! You can remember the girl's scent but you can't remember her face. Great, sir," said Luci while clapping her hands and intending to quip Evan.
