"Wha – what do you mean? You're saying grandma wants to take us out of town? But for what?" stuttered Luci who was already shuffling at Evan as if she might get an attack from a stranger coming from the car window.
"There's a detour around here. So it's best not to jump to conclusions just yet, sir!" said Mr. John who responded to Evan's question a moment ago.
And sure enough, after about ten minutes of driving, there was a sharp turn that led to or headed back into the city. The wheel rolls over a quieter and more spacious road.
"I don't know what grandma wants anymore," Evan commented as he watched the trees move and pass at a steady pace.
"If I may ask, Sir, at dinner did Grand Lady mention one of the places you should go to? Maybe that can be used as a clue," said Mr. John, who seemed to join the detective group where Evan, Luci, and himself were the member.
