"I appreciate your advice, Ted. But I can't just move on." Luci looked at Teddy bitterly.
"But why? Are you still thinking about Hans? You can take him with you. If you want, I'll find a place for you….away from this town. You can stay there for a while." Teddy wasn't messing with the advice he was making right now. He had also been looking for a suitable place for Luci to hide.
The idea just came up this morning, shortly after Luci ended the call.
"I still have a contract with Mr. Evan, and I have to keep doing it. Because all my money has been used to pay off Aunt Arum's gambling debt. I really can't back down now. Not to mention I have used some of the down payment from Mr. Evan.
