Claire pulled Gerald's blanket upwards slightly, who was still asleep, and stroked his arm. Gerald came to his senses and saw Claire smiling in sorrow.
"Precious ..." called Gerald very quietly. Claire smiled and drew closer.
"You should rest, Gramps. I'll take care of you here," replied Claire softly. Gerald's hand lifted and caressed Claire's cheek lightly. Claire took that hand and pecked it while closing her eyes.
"Please forgive me, my Baby. I want you to be happy." Gerald was still trying to speak even though he was in pain. Claire just smiled and nodded. She kept holding her grandfather's hand.
"Please concede about Joona. He was a victim of your father's mistake. I should have tried harder to prevent your father. It's all my fault," added Gerald and Claire shook her head.
"It's not your fault, Grandpa." Claire continued to shake her head, and Gerald, who was listening, smiled.
