LEEN'S CAFE
Kenanga has been waiting for more than an hour, but Louis is not coming yet. She has even skipped the food menu offered several times to eat with Louis.
"Where the hell is he?" asked Kenanga irritatedly. She returned to call him but responded by voicemail only. Kenanga got more annoyed and began to get angry. Moreover, she hasn't eaten anything at all. She even dressed up sexy and attractive to get Louis's recognition, but what she was waiting for didn't come. Until finally, somebody sent a message to Kenanga's cellphone.
'Sorry, I'm on a sudden family matter, I can't come. We'll talk another time.' Kenanga read the message sent by Louis. Kenanga, who was reading, almost threw away her cellphone in distress. Unable to throw the cellphone, She eventually threw the spoon that was on her desk. And it accidentally landed on someone's head.
"Akkhh, what the fuck! who did this!" someone's voice while holding his head. He looked around then looked back, and it was a girl who threw the spoon at him. The male guest then stood up and approached Kenanga, who was sitting behind him.
"Hey lady, did you throw me with this?" Kenanga saw the man with an annoyed expression.
"Yes, do you have problem?"
"Eh, what did I do to you, do we know each other?"
"Just leave, do not bugging me!" shouted Kenanga kicking the man away.
"You threw me with this, now why you are scolding me?" the man annoyed Kenanga even more.
"Why do you come here and scold me first!"
"You did this, of course I'll let you knew. what the heck!" the man was getting annoyed. Kenanga, who was annoyed at Louis, took out her frustration at the strange man she had never seen.
"I just threw you with a spoon, luckily I didn't use a plate," said Kenanga, standing up to leave. The man saw Kenanga's beautiful face and was shortly stunned. But he still argued with her because he felt she should apologize.
"You should be apologetic, not the other way around."
"I'm not going to apologize, all men are the same!" Kenanga promptly left the man.
"Where are you going, Hey lady, you should say sorry to me!" he said, half screaming. Kenanga turned around.
"Never!" she said, now opened the door and left. The man's friend finally came over.
"Are you okay, Gentala?" Gentala turned to his friend and node his head. But he still looked at the door again. He felt his head, which was hit by the spoon. The face of the girl he did not know and had thrown cutlery at him made Gentala think for a moment. It was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life.
"Wait, I forgot to ask her name!" - Gentala said in his heart. He shook his head a few times before returning to his table.
HOTEL ORION
Keith Barnett is standing in front of a large glass window that separates him from the outside. He stayed in one of the luxury presidential suites at a seven-star hotel in Jakarta.
For a moment, he thought of his life when he was a teenager in Manchester, England. He had to survive in the alley by doing many things. He committed numerous crimes to became what he is today.
He tricked many people into gaining the honorable position he is now, including trapping Isabel Dickson Winthrop, Vincent Winthrop's wife. Isabel, who was disowned by her husband too often, ended up having an affair with a younger man, Keith Barnett.
And after Vincent died in a car accident, Isabel was able to bring Keith into her house freely. Introducing him to little Claire, who was only four years old who never got the love of a parent. That's why Claire loved Keith because he used to be the father she never got.
Now, Keith, who is aiming for the highest position in Winthrop, is barred by the presence of Arjoona Harristian. A strange man who suddenly came between him and Claire. He was trying to control her but now looked so hard.
Keith couldn't get close to Gerald Winthrop, who hated him so much. Even though Keith wanted to kill Gerald, who always insulted him, he couldn't even get close to Gerald. Steven Juliandra is Gerald's private assistant, as well as a bodyguard. He devoted himself to protecting Gerald for many years.
Steven didn't even get married, or at least that's what many people know about him. He always is Gerald's life shield all the time. Eventually, he was authorized by Gerald to become the CEO of his electronics company in Jakarta. But no one knew that Gerald's real intention was for Steven to keep an eye on Arjoona, whom he had long prepared as the guardian of his heir, Claire Winthrop.
Keith grunted loudly with annoyance at the thought of Arjoona Harristian. He has become the wall that secludes him from his stepdaughter. Keith is thinking of the right way to undertake. If he is not careful, he will lose everything. He must not disparage Arjoona. That kid has guts.
Keith took out his cell phone and called one of his old business partners, an Indian weapons businessman, and mafia, Yousef Kanishka.
"How you doin 'old mate?" said Keith smiling to open the chat.
"Ah, I'm good, where are you now, I heard you are in Indonesia?" asked Yousef.
"Yes, I was after Winthrop's last treasure." Yousef laughed.
"You're too greedy my friend," Keith chuckled.
"We have to dream big to get big things, don't we?"
"Yeah yeah, that was what I thought when I offered my daughter as a collateral to that crazy Admiral." Keith frowned.
"Is your daughter still with him?" asked Keith
"Yes, but I am gonna take my daughter back, if needed I will kill that Admiral" Keith even laughed.
"Save your energy, my friend, Admiral Miller is not just anyone, if he deployed his battleship, your whole island will sink," Yousef's turn to laugh.
"I'm not afraid of him, he's the one who should be afraid of me. Cut the bullshit, now tell me what you want."
"I thought you wouldn't ask, I need your help but you have to send your best man here."
"What's in it for me?" asked Yousef.
"Half share of Winthrop Motors in Detroit for you," Keith answered without hesitation.
"Deal, I will send my best man over there,"
"Thank you old friend, see you later,"
"Bye," Keith then hung up the phone line. He smiled at the view outside his big window.
"Arjoona Harristian, I'll make sure you won't live much longer," muttered Keith with a sly smile.
