Chapter 26 - Chapter 26. Last Rejection

Claire finally had to be pushed back and forced to wait by the bar. A female bartender asked her what she wanted to drink. Claire only ordered soft drinks because she didn't want to get drunk at all.

"Here's the drink, are you sure you don't want some beer?" asked the bartender again. Claire shook her head with a smile.

"What's the name of the performing rapper?" asked Claire, trying to find out about Joona.

"Oh Jonna, his name is Arjoona Harristian, are you new guest?" replied the bartender. Claire nodded and smiling faintly.

"Yeah, ehhm does he always perform here?" The bartender nodded.

"Yup. He's already signed to perform in this club, he's the main rapper performing 3 times a week," Claire nodded.

"Does he have a lot of fans?"

"uggh don't ask, everybody loves, Joona."

"Joona?" the bartender nodded. Claire nodded and smiled again. Now she had to wait until Arjoona finished performing, and other rappers replaced him. Seeing Arjoona getting off the stage and about to leave, Claire was about to intercept.

"Ah, new fans again!" muttered the bartender named Felisha as she saw Claire approached Joona. Arjoona, who was also approached by a few fans, smiled sweetly, and his smile immediately disappeared when he saw Claire among the women.

"We have to talk!" Claire grabbed Joona's wrist, ignoring the scolding of Joona's fans who had already surrounded him before. While Arjoona was still surprised why Claire was in the club, Claire already had him.

"What are you doing here?" asked Joona, still with sweat on his forehead and neck. For a moment, Claire was stunned to see the sexy, sweaty Arjoona. There was an attractive body fragrance smelled by Claire's nostrils as soon as he was close. He was still a little breathless after appearing for nearly two hours on stage. Claire, who realized she was staring at Joona for too long, quickly shook her head.

"We have to talk," replied Claire fading her daydream. Arjoona frowned.

"About what?" just when Claire was about to open her mouth, she fell silent to see Arjoona's sweat flowing from behind his ears down to his neck.

'shit what do I think!' Claire cursed in her heart.

Joona looked at Claire in surprise because she seemed to be talking to herself. He was still waiting for Claire to continue speaking.

"cancel the wedding tomorrow," said Claire finally after she could control himself, half-whispered. Even though Claire was wearing heels, she still had to look up at Joona. She also has to get close so that other people don't hear her words. And Joona's scent doesn't help her at all. There was a strange warmth she felt in her body once the scent smelled in the air.

"We've discussed this many times, I'm not canceling the wedding tomorrow," Claire snorted in annoyance. Instead, Arjoona sat on the chair next to him; he ordered a beer bottle for Felisha. Claire is still standing next to Joona, hoping to negotiate.

"What do you expect from this, we can't marry, Arjoona." Joona chuckled and turned to Claire.

"It's only for two years. You only have to sign the contract and the marriage certificate, what's so hard!" Arjoona replied casually.

"We hate each other. There's no way we can even get married" Arjoona ignored Claire and instead drank casually.

"Then I don't have anything else to talk with you," Claire hit the table in front of Joona. But Joona looks natural.

"I will keep my relationship with my boyfriend even though we get married, do you want your reputation to be bad because your wife is cheating, you better cancel it now!" Arjoona chuckled mockingly.

"you said, you want to cheat? I'll lock you up at home so you can't go anywhere else. especially to find that lecherous boy, Jezz!" said Arjoona, triggering Claire's emotions.

"Do not insult Louis!"

"Why, you want to be angry, I don't care, but once we get married you have to break up with that man or don't blame me if I will beat him up," threatened Arjoona with an annoyed face.

"Cancel the wedding!"

"No," replied Joona, quickly turned around for a moment.

"you are a jerk, you dirty man!" cursed Claire to Joona, who was still sitting on the barstool drinking.

"Say whatever you want, what clear tomorrow is you will be my wife, so don't forget to sign the contract, see you tomorrow at the civil register office, BABY!" said Joona mocked Claire, who wanted to kill him.

"I will make your life miserably in hell Arjoona Harristian, you will regret doing this to me!" Claire replied with her clenched fists.

"Oh I'm not afraid, you can do anything."

"I'll fire you."

"Oh, please do it!" Arjoona just drank casually no matter what.

"what do you want?" Joona chuckled, snorted, and smiled sarcastically

"money, I'll get half of your assets if we get married, so why not, see you tomorrow, just wear some fancy gown!" Claire shouted, stomping her feet. Some people at the bar began to pay attention to Arjoona Harristian, the famous underground rapper in the hip-hop club, who was arguing with a beautiful blonde European woman but could speak Indonesian very well.

Claire looked right and left; several people were starting to whisper about her. If she talked too loudly, many people would know. Claire finally didn't want to add embarrassment, and she decided to leave and not to prolong her argument with Arjoona. She left the club in sexy office clothes and graceful arrogant steps. Arjoona only let out a heavy breath. He's too much annoyed until hitting the counter. Felisha shocked. She never saw Arjoona that upset. He finally stood up and walked to the changing room. He sat for a while, thinking, and contemplating.

Arjoona looked for a little doubt in his heart, but he did not find anything than just his heart having more confidence to experience the marriage. Somehow he even believed in that two-year marriage without a clear future.

"Do I really want to get married to the things that I want to do the contract. What's wrong with me!" Arjoona rubbed his hair irritably before standing up and getting ready to go home.
