Alusec and her stared at each other with their eyes connecting. He then looked at her tummy with bewilderment written all over his face.
Pah! Pah! Pah! Pah!
"Wow! You're so great at acting that I almost fell for it...." Alusec clapped in appreciation of her supposed, great acting skills.
"Where is Calicrum, that bastard? Didn't the both of you wed and have a son. He must be around here somewhere, watching and waiting for me to make a fool out of myself like five hundred thousand years ago." Alusec said while checking around the place. After not seeing anyone, he turned to stare at her.
"We did wed but never for once did I let him touch me, he has children from different females all over the universe..." She answered.
"You succeeded in deceiving me five hundred thousand years ago and still expect to do so again.... fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.... does that term still fly?" Alusec last sentence was supposed to be funny but no one was laughing.
"I'm not telling a lie, I swear!"
"Like the way you swore to always stand by me? That's overrated... I trusted your love and now innocent people are dead, worlds destroyed, dreams scattered into ashes!"
She tried to explain herself but was cut short by Alusec whose face was still full of pain and rage.
"Did-didn't you fe-el t-he con-nec-tion?" She asked while stuttering another round of tears threatening to spill out from her eyes again.
"This is a dream space that you created... for all I know, what I felt may just be something you faked...." Alusec spoke while getting closer to her, he bent his head down to her height level and stared right into her eyes, "you expect me to believe that a child of mine is the cause of the destruction of so many planets... a child who is supposed to be a blessing is like a curse.... if that is true then I want no such child." Alusec declared.
Pit! Pat! Pit! Pat!
The sound of tears dropping to the ground could be clearly heard in dimly lit and silent cave.
She avoided Alusec eyes and stared down with a sorrowful gaze.
Alusec didn't bother to pity her. 'I'm not falling for all these nonsense drama..."
"What if we meet up in the real world... will you be able to tell if it's your child?" She asked with a longing gaze.
"Of course, at first glance, I'll be able to tell if it's my child or not... but when I see you in the real world, I shall take your life first!" Alusec answered and threatened with a fierce glint in his eyes.
"I'll take my chances.... but I need to escape first." It was almost like she didn't hear Alusec say he'd kill her since her eyes shone with a ray of hope.
"How did you get me to this dream space? aren't you supposed to meet some requirements first?" Alusec questioned with an inquisitive look.
"Calicrum made me stay in a dream world, where he keeps me under lock and key.... I only went out recently and was able to get your blood which I used in linking you to this place," She gave an answer which made Alusec stare with a surprised look.
"My blood?" Alusec questioned.
"Yes, your blood... I caught a glimpse from where Calicrum and the others were conducting weird experiments on it in the infinity tower," She answered.
"They have my blood?" Alusec remembered being injured and bleeding which was something that hadn't happened for close to a million years. 'They must have gotten it from the battle site.'
"Yes.... you have to make plans when you wake up.... they're plotting something here, and I can tell that it's very sinister." She replied with a look of concern.
"You have been asleep for too long.. you have to wake up now.... waa..." Her voice kept fading away as Alusec felt like his soul was being pulled into another realm.
Squish! Squish!
Alusec opened his eyes slowly, everywhere was still looking a bit blurry for about a few seconds.
He turned his head sideways and noticed that he was lying down on a bed in a small and unrecognizable room.
Clench!
He held the side of the bed and tried to get up.
"Owww!" He shouted in pain and his body limply fell, gluing his back to the bed.
At that moment he felt it, a jolt of pain all through his entire body, coming from every nook and cranny of his muscles. He managed to look down at himself and saw his whole body wrapped in different leaves and herbs. His robes had already been removed, he was in his underwear, while the remaining part of his body was bare.
Slam!
The door was pushed open by someone.
"Master, you're awake..." Ruby shouted while running towards the bed happily and hugging Alusec with a huge smile plastered all over her face.
"Ruby...." Alusec muttered weakly.
"Yes, Master?" Ruby asked while holding onto Alusec right hand and checking his injuries.
"Help me sit up." He demanded.
"No master, you're still heavily injured, you severed almost all your meridians, snapped a lot of veins and muscles, ignited your sources forcefully which caused depletion of energy completely and cultivation deviation, you're only alive because you cannot die. A normal god would have been long dead by now after complete depletion of source energy." Ruby harshly remarked.
Alusec stared at this beautiful but hard-headed lady and decided to listen.
"Were you the one who removed my robes?" Alusec asked while eyeing her.
Ruby immediately cut off the eye contact with him, her face reddening like that of a tomato.
"Y-yes, ma-ster, I di-didn't ha-ve a ch-oice." she turned her face away while speaking.
"I'm glad it isn't anyone else.... no one is meant to see the tool a god possesses." Alusec smiled in relief.
"Tool?" Ruby asked, "Lord Alu..." Ruby didn't get to complete her sentence and the thoughts that were starting to build up in her mind when Alusec interrupted.
"How long have I been asleep?" Alusec questioned.
Ruby showed a solemn face when he asked this question.
"It's been two months since you destroyed the celestial wall!" Ruby answered candidly.
"What? Two months? Not two weeks? Alusec asked in disbelief.
"Yes master, you've been asleep for two months!" Ruby confirmed with a nod.
"Damn it.... I've been sleeping all this time while my enemies have been making ample preparation to deal with me..." Alusec wondered out loud.
'No wonder she said I had to wake up now but this might just be another plot Calicrum has set up but he has no idea what is in store for him and those celestials!' Alusec had already formulated a plan from the moment Yemoja told him about his blood being used to perform experiments.
Alusec once had a source that made him incapable of bleeding. He would take damage from receiving an attack on a more powerful scale but he would never bleed. This was until he ignited the void piercer forcefully which ended up using some of his sources as fuel due to his weakness. That source was included which gave Calicrum the chance to get Alusec's blood.
Alusec looked at the small and unfamiliar room which had no window, with the only source of light being an opening on the roof.
"Ruby, where are we? This doesn't seem like any room in the Miracule mansion" Alusec questioned again.
"Lord Alusec, we're not in the Miracule paradise, we are currently in Gorindor and we have lost contact with Miracule and Vitu," Ruby answered.
"What? Come again?"
