The demon scout guides Azieb in search of the closest village. Somewhere nearby, a player is lost looking for his way home. The player looks around and sees a chest. He opens the chest, only to find it empty. As he closes the chest, a torch drops and lights a red dust trail. The light heads straight to the Resistance's base, and alerts the players there of a player or villager. A player reports to the leader, whose name is revealed to be Grave. Grave suggests they go check it out, and ambush whoever opened the chest.
The player wanders a little more, wondering what he can do now. He turns around and sees the demon scout walking towards him. The player decides to capture it, thinking it would be perfect for his base, when he is killed by Azieb.
The demon scout continued to move, until it ran into a small group of demons. The demons hypothesize a villager scout became crazy and wanted to become a demon. The demons wonder what happens if a demon scout bites a demon, then decides to kill the demon scout. While they were still talking, they find Azieb behind them, and attempt to make a run for it, only to become trapped.
The demons became controlled by Azieb, and accompanied the demon scout. The demon scout travels further, until it finds a couple scouts ahead. The scouts see the demon scout and decide to kill it at range. They fire their arrows, but a demon takes the shot instead. The scouts continue to fire, but the demons take all the shots. Azieb reveals himself among the small group of zombies, and launches the demon scout straight at the scouts. The demon scout kills Tim and stuns the other one. Azieb then has the surviving demons kill the scout.
Somewhere else, Boop and Grian are carrying Hazuki and following Charlie, who is "guiding" them to a hospital. Boop continuously singing Boop while walking, annoying Charlie and threatening to kill Boop.
While the group were talking, Hazuki gets a flashback while unconscious:
Ishigami tells Hazuki that he must be the guardian of the world. Ishigami explains that Hazuki is the only one capable of such a task. He also explains that a darkness arising from the shadows could harm the world, and Hazuki is the only one who can stop them. Hazuki begins his task uncertain, as he does not understand this threat himself. As Hazuki ventures, he sees a wandering player trying to save a few villagers from someone's house. The player owning the house scolds the other player for trying to take the villagers away from him. The wandering player faces the player and rebukes him for claiming ownership over the villagers' lives. The player does not want to give up the villagers, and the wandering player challenges a fight.
Hazuki watches the two fight, and decides to accept that he must defend the world and the many creatures within it. As the two players fight, the wandering player is knocked out. Before the player can kill him, however, Hazuki stops him and orders him to release the villagers. The player suggests a trade with Hazuki's sword in exchange for the villagers.
The player planned to kill Hazuki once the sword is given, but he becomes lost while triumphing to himself for thinking he was smart. While he was still thinking, Hazuki has already released the villagers, and gave them some iron for better defenses. Hazuki throws a rock at the player and sends him away. As Hazuki walks away from the area, the wandering player regained consciousness, and asked Hazuki who he was. Hazuki did not tell, but the wandering player pleaded that Hazuki teaches him to become strong, so that he can also defend the world. Hazuki, impressed by the player's intentions, gave him a map, and promises to teach him the next day.
As Hazuki walks along, he sees an elder player and a blue-robed villager running away from a group of players. The elder player is hit by an arrow, but Hazuki stops the players from killing the two. Grave was among the players, and tells that his clan is growing, and the clan needs more land and supplies. Hazuki tries to talk them to stop killing others, but Grave plans to continue his ways. Realizing Hazuki had a number of diamond items, Grave decided to kill Hazuki and achieve the weapons. Grave orders his clan mates to attack Hazuki in different directions, while Hazuki readied himself for the battle.
Hazuki battles the group of players, and immediately had the upper hand. However, Grave threw a dagger at Hazuki's shoulder and injured him. Grave kicked a block of gravel at Hazuki. As Hazuki stopped the block, Grave and another player immediately charged at him. However, Hazuki immediately grabbed his giant sword and stunned both of them, while destroying Grave's armor completely.
Grave surrenders, and orders Hazuki to kill him. He vows to come back stronger and burn the very place they fought to the ground. Hazuki considers whether to kill Grave or not. He decides to spare Grave, thinking it's for the greater good. Grave, however, vows to kill Hazuki, and leaves. Hazuki goes to the elder player and the blue-robed villager. The player thanks Hazuki, but tells him that Hazuki no longer needs to protect the world. The player tells that he has seen a savior coming, and he will rid all kinds of threats and scums in the world, and restore balance to the world. The player then yells,"His name is Azieb!", ending Hazuki's flashback.
Hazuki opens his eyes, and looks up to see Grian, Boop, and Charlie sitting by a fire, and goes back to sleep. Meanwhile, Charlie asks Boop if he likes chocolate. Boop responds chocolate makes him fart, and Charlie dislikes Boop more. As he wonders what Boop's death scream sounds like, Boop goes up to him and shows how his fart sounds like.
