In the kingdom of Nightingale, there is a tale passed from generations to generations.

It says that there was once a time when death and destruction were so common in this world that even the smell of rotting corpses did not bother the living people. When many craved for food, as they lived hopelessly and died hopelessly.

People with power squeezed every penny from the poor. Where thieves and bandits roamed freely, killing without any guilt. When land sipped the blood of the fallen soldiers who perished for their selfish masters.

It was the time when there was no peace. There was no hope. Only sadness and anguish.

During those times there lived a young boy with a strong sense of justice. Having lost his parents and village due to cruelty of the surroundings, tired of seeing the tyranny of the world, powerlessly looking as people suffer and die in front of his eyes, he resolved to change it for the good.

One night, while wandered inside the forbidden forest, he heard a beautiful song of a bird. He curiously followed the voice and found a small bird singing a beautiful song, breaking the silence of the night. When he tried to go near it, it flew away. He followed it and saw it disappearing into a cave.

He walked into the dark cave, not knowing what lies inside it, just to find another forest at its exit. He then heard the same song that the small bird sang, but by several birds that sat on the trees as if welcoming him. He finds the forest filled with green light coming from the depths of the forest. He walked deep into the forest, as he curiously tried to find what shone so brightly that even night felt like a day.

He found a beautiful green shining crystal, carved beautifully like a bird with open wings. It was flying in the middle of the forest, standing high among the trees. The boy climbed the highest and the nearest tree to the crystal.

He touched it with the tips of his fingers and then pulled it towards him after great efforts. Few letters appeared on the body of the bird. It said:

'I can be a boon to those who use my power for greater good and curse to those who use my power for their selfish needs.'

He takes it with him, first curios about its power and then, used those powers to protect humanity from its doom by becoming the first emperor to unite the continent. He declared that the crystal bird is a gift of the gods to protect humanity and named it Anthus. He named himself and the kingdom he created as Nightingale as they were the one who guided the humanity from darkness and showed them the light of hope.

He was the first emperor of the Nightingale, Theodore Liam Van De Nightingale.

And the people worshipped Anthus and asked for its protection for generations.

But after 200 years of the creation of the Nightingale Empire, words appeared on the body of the bird again. The last time is said to be appearing in front of the first emperor when he picked it up. The words were:

'The princess of Osborne will become my shield and protect me.'

When inquired, they found that kingdom of Osborne does not have any princess but the queen of Osborne is currently pregnant. At first people, people were surprised that the Anthus, who protected them from the evil, now declares someone as its shield.

Because of this, the people of not only Osborne but also of the entire Nightingale Empire curiously waited for the child growing in her womb. And one summer night, she gave birth to a fine and healthy princess.

The Emperor, thinking that she has a major role to play in the future, declared her as the future queen of the Nightingale Empire and the fiancée of his three-year-old son.
