Province of Ecclesiastes: Underground

While Seraphine and Aden were on the way to help Sam, Sam was fighting off the deranged wolves, vampires and elves alike, they were already struggling, fighting this people that turned into mindless monsters.
"Dammit, what are these things?!"
"Ahhhh!"
One of the members of the resistance gets knocked down, Sam immediately rushes to their aid and cuts the attacker in half.
"Thank you, Sir. Sam"
"Be vigilant!" Sam shouts.
"I did not know that our strength wouldn't be enough…"
Sam slashes and swings his claymore around to fend off the enemies alongside the resistance.
They hold out until Seraphine and Aden arrive, he wasn't surprised by the appearance of Aden, but he was genuinely surprised at Seraphine.
"You two…"
"Need help, brother?" Aden says in a smug tone.
