I coughed out the sand that I inhaled, I didn't realise that I was also sucked into the sand, it grabbed my legs and pulled me below.
"...ISHANA! SERAPHINE! ASTER!"
The sand on my clothes slides down on the ground, I shout their names, but there was no answer.
"I see you have regained consciousness"
"?!"
I turned around to see a man with a mask, he raised his hand in surrender already, to my confusion.
"While you were unconscious, I fended off the monsters that wanted to consume you, I am not a threat"
"Who are you?"
"My name is Laurent I also have another companion named Frederick, we are here to help you"

If my memory serves me right, this man was at the Lair, he was one of Herodotus companions. I pulled my claymore out and was ready to attack.
