"Krinshing de morte what the hell is that?" I asked them.
"It's a code, not really an actual word something used as-"
"A de facto." Cody finished for her.
"Wow man I fell like a proud parent, you are getting some sense up there." Max faked being emotional rubbing invincible tears from his eyes. I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.
"You guys should stop messing around or I'll throw you out." Genevieve warned them.
"That includes you Genevieve." I told her she glared at me and continued talking.
"Whosever that has Jazlyn is aiming for something big something dangerous like that krinshing de morte Aimee talked about." Genevieve spoke with confidence.
"A Necromancer." I said.
"Necromancer?" they all asked at the same time.
"Yes. Haven't you people heard of those tales of people speaking with the dead those things are real if you know what I mean." I told them. They still stared at me like I have grown many heads I shrugged dumb bunch of fools. "And you guys think I am a jerk with anger issues."
"That's quite smart of you at least you get to be less of a fool." Genevieve cooed I grind my teeth preventing me from saying something that will compromise the search for Jazlyn. Why do I care so much about her well being when she has been a living pain in my life.
"Just do as you come here to do." I grit out.
"Which is what I am doing. We have to get to creek valley it's possible they are holding her there." Genevieve continued.
"Creek valley? never heard of that." Cody said.
"You really lack knowledge don't you." Max mocked.
"Shut up I was just asking." Cody said.
"Now we know, what are we waiting for." I told them grabbing my keys.
"Wait!" Genevieve called me.
"What now woman?" I asked getting irritated by her bossy attitude.
"We need to consider our steps before we move if you so much care about Jazlyn as we do you must not take any hasty step. Think first before you get someone killed." she told me.
"What's there to think."
"The phoneys and the necromancers could have something in common which might be used against us or Jazlyn. Something like a spell or fume."
"Yeah these guys would lay down their lives to get their hands on any power they could find." Max spoke.
"Do you by any means have an enemy?" Aimee asked me, we all looked at her. "Umm..like I mean if there was anyone holding Jazlyn against her will they know for sure she stays with you, which is definitely true and it might be someone you know or someone who knows you." I thought about it, what she said makes total sense the chances were big.
"That's impossible." Cody exclaimed.
"No buddy it's possible just imagine Shawn here stole your merry mint two years ago and promised to pay back but refuses to and tried to kill you so he could bury your merry mint and steal your house what would you do?" Max asked Cody placing his hand around his shoulder.
"I'd kill him!" he exclaimed.
"Now you get it." Max said.
"Who have you offended that would want to use something you love just to get back at you." Genevieve asked me.
"I really don't know my only guess are you guys." I told them.
"Aside from us there would be someone out there watching you or might have tricked you if I may add."
"Look here witch I know I have done some bad things to you but if I find out all this." I pointed to them and the map on the floor. "If I find out it's some sort of joke I will murder you all." I threaten.
"I am really sick of you blaming us if we wanted to get back at you we would have done it in the most reasonable way. We would never stoop so low!" she raised her voice.
"You know what find her yourself I am done listening to you insult us. And to think I was going to help you get her back not for us but for you." she stood up followed by Max and Cody. "Goodbye Shawn great luck finding Jazlyn."
The trio walked out of the hall, Max gave me the middle finger and Cody mouthed bastard, I let it slip. I screamed pulling on my hair once again I let my arrogant character control me into losing my last hope to find Jazlyn.
"Shawn." Aimee called softly I turned to look at her but was welcomed with a punch on my nose. "Dick!" she screamed.
"Yeah I totally deserve that." I spoke wiping the blood flowing down from my nose. I grabbed an handkerchief from my pocket to wipe it dry. Gosh I think she broke my nose.
"Yes you do, the one chance we had on getting Jazlyn back and you screwed it." she moved to step away but I held her arm. "Let go of me!"
"How much do you care about Jazlyn?" I asked her.
"So much than you can think of." she tried wriggling out of my grip.
"Are you willing to take the risk?" I asked her. I needed to know if she was ready for the risks that comes with it, there would be no use hiding my plans.
"I'd do anything as long she is safe."
"Anything?" I released her.
"What do you mean, I said I will do anything."
"Then follow me" I told her.
