The celebration is over, and everyone is exhausted. Mrs. Clara's driver drove Mom and me home again at night because it was becoming late. She also expressed gratitude for our attendance at her party. We also thanked her for inviting us to her celebration. We haven't been to an expensive party till today.
When Mom and I arrived home, all of the lights had been turned off, and there appeared to be no one in the house. Hillarry most likely hasn't returned home yet. I encouraged mom not to be concerned about Hillary since she will return home as well, even if they are still not doing well.
I went straight to the bedroom, but mom insisted on staying in the living room first since she was still waiting for Hillary to arrive, and I told her that she could sleep later because she needed to rest, and it was late at night. I went upstairs and into my room after Mom consented.
