When I went home, nothing seemed to happen. As usual, I claimed to be OK. Renz asserted that he would drive me home, and I agreed because it would be awkward if Mrs. Clara continued to offer me after all of her assistance.
The gate was closed when I arrived home, but because I had a duplicate key, I was able to enter right away. Since it was 5:55 a.m., the home is silent, and it appears that everyone is still sleeping. I went up to my room and lay asleep, recalling what had happened the night before.
I've been duped.
I close my eyes and attempt to forget about what just happened.
When I awoke again, it was 11 a.m. I put my phone to the side and checked it to see what it was when it vibrated.
