Esma was looking at Jethro as the dark shadow inside his body. Jethro suddenly went closer to her and she doesn't expect the next thing to happen. Jethro grabs her and holds her neck, she was unable to breathe properly as she was trying to fight him, but Jethro was too strong to fight with. Esma was feeling weak when Mia and Chandler arrived at the scene. Mia looks at her dad and it hurts her, seeing her father like that. She stops herself as she noticed there was a tear that was about to fell. She holds it back and sighs. She then closes her eyes as she was still looking at her father.
"Dad?" she utters and Jethro then lets go of Esma and looks at her.
"There you are, my daughter,'' he said and Mia can sense something was wrong with her dad.
"Why are you doing this, Dad? Esma is innocent," she said and Esma was looking at her in surprise. She doesn't expect Mia would believe her.
