"Calm down Ava, Calm down." Ava whispered to herself

She was walking as fast as she could to the guild while trying to maintain her composure.

"Mama, why are you walking so fast" a little voice cried out from behind Ava

She turned around and saw no one and began to hasten her pace. She was freaked out.

"I can't take this anymore" she shouted and she ran towards the guild doors which were in sight.

To a normal person, Alex was sitting down lazily at their usual spot. But Grayson who was a member of their team knew that he was anxiously waiting for someone.

"Relax dude, she will be coming in any seco-," before he could finish that sentence Ava came rushing through the doors and drawing attention to herself.

She quickly scanned the room and ran towards her familiar redhead and hid behind him.

"Aves, what's wrong, why are you hiding?" Alex asked concernedly while unconsciously guarding her.

Ava was too afraid to answer and was just focusing at the large doors of the guild.

"Calm down Ava, what happened?" Grayson said as he patted her back.

"Th-theres someone following me. All I heard was crying and calling out, I don't know who or what…" Ava said shakily while holding on to Alex.

This got everyone in the guild on high alert. Ava was one of the few ladies who chose to join a guild instead of any other occupation. Everyone treasured her and always made sure she was safe, if there was any danger lurking around nobody would hesitate to fight.

Slowly the door opened and in walked a child with blond hair walked in. "Mama…" he cried out weakly

Literally everyone in the room stopped moving. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

"A kid..?" Claire stated, breaking the silence.

Claire slowly walked up to the kid and bent down to his height "Hey kiddo, are you lost?"

The little boy looked up and exclaimed "aunty Claire! Where's mama and papa?"

"Who exactly are your mama and papa?��

The green eyed boy scanned around the room and stopped his gaze at Ava and Alex.

"Mama! Papa!" he ran towards them and tugged on their arms.

Ava and Alex looked at each in disbelief while the entire group stared in shock.

"My own sister would hide this from me?" Claire gasped.

"No! There is no way, Lex and I aren't like that." Ava said bluntly.

"Now it all makes sense, Alex comes back one day with a girl because he got her pregnant and made her join the guild so that he can take care of them. That would make sense why Alex is always over at Ava's house." Grayson spoked as if he knew the whole story.

"Shut your mouth grayson before i do it myself" Alex grumbled.

"As your older sister I am disappointed. Why would you keep my nephew away from me?" Claire frowned at Ava

"No, if i had a kid i would know? How would I even keep my pregnancy from you?" Ava was just as confused as everyone else in this room.

"Ahem." The little boy cleared his throat drawing attention to himself. "I have a name you know?"

"And your name is?" Grayson asked probing the child.

"My name is Noah and I am 5 years old," he said proudly.

By the looks of it, this boy had the blonde hair and face of Ava, Green eyes and hairstyle of Alex. Noah definitely looked the part of Alex's and Ava's child.

"Noah is a splitting image of you and Alex, Aves" Claire was looking back and forth between her sister and this boy.

"But we never did anything" Both Alex and Ava shouted at the same time.

With all the commotion going around in the guild hall, a loud booming voice echoed. "What is going on here?"

Noah looked up and grinned "Hi old man"

The guild master narrowed his eyes at the kid. "Who told you to call me that"

"Papa did!" he laughed as he slowly made his way toward the guild master.

"I did not! I don't even know the kid" Alex said defiantly

Noah then started to sob "you don't want me anymore?"

Ava's instinct started to kick in and she bent down to his level, "Hey hey don't cry now."

Noah started sobbing more and Alex quickly said "Look kid, fire magic!" Alex opened his palm and on his hand was a dancing flame.

Noah slowly calmed down and said "I know that, you already taught me that." He opened his palm and on it was a smaller version of what Alex just did.

Gasps could be heard all around the room, a fire magician is not very common out of the six elements it was the second rarest next to darkness magic.

"Woah good job kid what else can you do?" Alex momentarily forgot about the predicament he was in because he was so excited about someone else being able to use the same magic as him.

Ava quickly cut him off. "Now is not the time for this." She was more concerned at the fact that a random child had appeared and claimed to be hers.

Both of them were too busy talking that they ignored what Ava had said, Ava huffed and slowly made her way to the guild master.

"Master, I claim innocence in all this. Firstly, if I were to get pregnant, I wouldn't be able to hide it. Secondly, the father would definitely not be Alex."

"He is a splitting image of both of you though," Master pointed out

"I know it's so scarily similar but this is just not possible."

"So? What are we going to do with him? He is still a kid so we can't just let him find a place by himself."

At this point both Claire and Grayson were listening in to the conversation.

"I think it's best we follow the kid's narrative for now and see what happens. I don't sense any dark magic in him so we should wait for Noah to tell us himself." Claire answered.

"That's a good idea. Since he's your kid Ava, let him stay with you for the time being. I will check around to see if there is anyone missing a child. Although personally I highly doubt it." and with that master left.

Master's words were final and she couldn't go against it. "What have I gotten myself into." Ava grumbled.
