Payton POV
As soon as we get downstairs Jamie's mother runs over to me, "omg your finally here." She says in a panic. "What's wrong Luna?" I ask as I look at her confused. "We're under attack, war is here." She says as she begins to growl. "Shit, I thought we had time." I curse as I look at Nathan.
I quickly mind link Chloe, 'Chloe the pack is under attack, war is here, keep my kids safe.' I quickly say looking back at the Luna, "where are they coming from?" I ask as I form a plan in my mind. 'Yes payton.' Chloe mind links me back, "there coming from the north, east and west." She says as she begins to panic more. "Luna don't worry I will handle this, go take the ones that can't fight and go to the safe house," I say calmly as I look into her eyes, turning my head I face Jamie's father, " alpha send your beta and our beta to the west with a group of warriors, me, Nathan and a group of warriors will take the east." I say as glancing over at Nathan. "You, your gamma and the rest of the pack that can fight will take the north." I finish as I look at him with a determined look.
He nods, turning on his heel to send out the orders. I look over at Nathan who is currently looking at the floor. "My love, we will be fine, just trust me." I say as I place my hand on his cheek, as he leans into my hand. "I know my love I'm just worried." He says looking into my eyes, "I know." I say as I lean forward placing a kiss on his lips. "We have to go." I say pulling away from him.
An hour later we are all shifted into our wolves and heading to our destination, as soon as we arrive you can smell the stench of death and blood. A few warriors let out howls as they look over there fallen companions. Wolves start to run at us from all directions, 'a trap, take formations,' I growl through mind link. Everyone gets into a circle ready to defend from all sides, the first wolf pounces almost hitting Nathan, but he quickly rips its throat out.
The wolves start to pile at us as we each slice, bite and rip there throats out. The wolf next to me gets knocked to the floor breaking the circle, 'the circle is broken attack formations.' I growl through mind link as everyone begins to take there stances. We all begin to charge forward, jumping over the first wolf I land on my paws in front of the next wolf, lifting my paw I slice its throat in front of me.
I run forward at the next wolf dropping him to the floor, clawing it's stomach, as I turn I kick out my back paw connecting it with another wolfs face. The wolf drops the floor with a thud as I pounce on top of him, ripping its throat out. I run at the next wolf pouncing on him, tackling him to the floor, it squirms underneath me as I lower my teeth, latching onto its throat. I look over to my left seeing a group charge towards me, lowering my head I step forward and stamp the ground, as I lift my head I let out a loud bark knocking them all to the ground.
As I run through the wolves I begin lifting one by one throwing them into near by trees, rocks, everything, killing them instantly. I turn to my right and see a wolf on top of Nathan, sprinting forward I tackle the wolf off him, ripping his arm of in the process. Landing on the ground with a thud, I quickly role over slashing its throat out with my claw. 'Are you ok.' I quickly ask Nathan through mind link. 'Ye just a bit banged up.' He says slightly out of breath.
I walk over to him, helping him back onto his paws, I quickly give him a lick on the cheek. 'You sure.' I soothingly day. He nods as he looks over at the rest of the wolves, 'there's only a few left.' He says looking back at me. 'I know, we did well.' I say looking over at the destruction of the fight. One of the warriors takes out the last wolf, ripping its throat out, spitting it on the ground. I turn back to look at Nathan, 'we need to set the perimeter.' Through mind link to everyone. The warriors begin to move into position not allowing anything or anyone to pass. 'Lets go check out the north, we are secure here,' Nathan says as he glances over towards that direction, nodding my head we begin to run,
It doesn't take us long to get to the north, the stench of death and blood guiding us through the forest. As soon as we get on top of the hill we see a blood bath the opposing wolfs have the upper hand, Nathan lets out a howl as we begin to charge forward, running up to the group I jump into the air landing on all four paws in front of them, I look down and stamp my foot.
As I lift my head I let out a bark, sending them all flying, killing a few wolves instantly. I charge forward slashing and slicing at there throats as they run at me, I get knocked to the ground by one of the wolves, pinning me. 'Payton.' Nathan screams in my head as he charges over, tackling the wolf off of me. I quickly get back up, as I look up i see three wolves pounce on Jamie's father back. I quickly run towards him tackling a wolf to the ground, I rip his throat out as I quickly turn to the other two wolves, who are still on the alphas back.
I tackle another to the floor as I begin to claw his stomach open, when he's dead I turn towards the last one, but it's to late. 'Noooo' I scream in my mind. The last wolf holds the alphas head in his mouth, 'he's going to pay for that.' Lily growls in my mind. I charge towards him jumping over his head, landing behind him. I bite down on his back legs hard instantly making him drop, getting on top of him I rip at his throat causing him to drop the alphas head.
I flip him over, scratching at his throat until his dead. I jump off his dead body, my paws and mouth soaked in blood as I land on the ground. I look up as an energy begins to fill me, 'I feel complete.' I think to myself as I begin to float off the ground, shifting from my wolf to my human form. My hair turns whits as a beautiful white dress appears on my body, hugging everyone of my curves. My eyes close as I levitate above everyone as they all stop fighting and watch what is happening.
My eyes burst open as I shout, "Enough," in my Luna command across the whole land, my voice shouting at every wolf. "You will submit or die now." My voice booms as every wolf begins to bow. A few begin to growl reluctant to listen to my Luna command. I levitate every single one of them, making them face me in the air. I gaze at that with pity in my eyes, "I warned you." I say as I lift my hand in the air setting them all on fire, burning them to ashes. I begin to drift to the floor, landing on my two feet as my feet sink into the ground. "Bring me the leader." I command as I look at every wolf bowing to me.
A few minutes later a group of wolves appear with three men walking in front of them. 'These are the leaders,' one of the wolves says as he nudged all three to me, the group of wolves get low to the ground as they bow to my feet. I smirk, as I walk towards the three men. "You think you can get away with this." I shout as I arch my eyebrow up. "N..no Luna." They stutter as fear takes over there body. I let out a laugh as I stand in front of them, I punch my arms out , hitting two of them straight into there chests. My fists going straight into there bodies as I grip at there hearts, i pull my arms out as I hold there hearts in my hand. Crushing them in the air I drop them to the floor just as there bodies begin to drop, landing with a thud.
I turn to the last leader as fear completely takes over him, "I..I'm s..sorry." He stutters causing me laugh again. "I don't care." I shout as I punch into his chest, gripping his heart. I watch the life slowly fade from his eyes as I pull my hand out his chest, crushing his heart in my grip. I drop it like the rest of them just as his body begins to drop to the floor. He lands with a thud as someone begins to wrap there arms around my waist, sparks begin to erupt as he lowers himself to my ear. "That's enough now my love, we've won." He whispers into my ear.
He turns me around forcing me to look into his eyes, I blink once, twice as the energy begins to fade from my body. "N..Nathan." I stutter out as I turn back to my normal human form. "What happened." I shakily ask as he pulls me into his embrace, hugging me tighter then he ever has before. "I think you have unlocked your full powers." He says as he starts to pull away. I turn to look around, my mouth drops open from shock as every wolf bows before us, memories begin to flood my brain, explaining to me everything that has just happened. I look at my hands as I turn back to Nathan, my mouth open in shock.
