Jamie POV
It's been four years since I became wolf less and mate less I haven't found Payton or Regan anywhere. Xavier hasn't come back either. My mother and father are still angry at me which, I really can't blame them. It's really hard being a wolf less alpha you can't really protect the pack so my beta has been taking over the attacks. Me on the other hand can only protect those who have to hide in the pack house I can fight still I just can't shift or use my strength.
I have become weak and it's my own fault. Because of the news about me losing my wolf rogues are beginning to attack a lot more, our pack is becoming less and less. My father had to set up meeting with the blood moon pack to ask for help, apparently they have the best warriors ever. I recently heard one she wolf warrior tore threw three rogues in less then a minute, to protect three children's that's impressive. I used to be able to do that as alpha but now I can't even defeat more then one without being inflicted with severe wounds.
My father wants me to attend the meeting due to me not being able to change into a wolf he says he needs all the warriors on our land in case of another attack. He is right, if I was in his position I would do the same. Why send someone who can fight when you have someone who can't but has power still. After eating dinner with the pack I decide to head straight to room not being in the mood for company. I never am these days. No one wants to talk to the alpha who caused his mate and his wolf to disappear. As I enter my room I flip down on my bed letting darkness consume me .
I wake up to my alarm blaring it 5:30am. I climb out of bed and head for a shower doing my normal morning routine. After getting changed I leave my room and head downstairs to the kitchen, opening the fridge I grab an apple and close it. Taking a bite I begin to walk to the door to begin my journey to the blood moon pack.
I hop into my car and start the 5 hour drive, after a while I reach the boundaries of the blood moon pack. Spotting the sentries I begin to stop the car. I role down my window and shout out " I am alpha Jamie I am here to meet with alpha Nathan and his knew Luna." One of the sentries eyes begin to change colour, I assuming he is mind linking the alpha.
After a while his eyes go back to normal and he nods allowing me to continue my journey. Another 20 minutes of driving I eventually reach alpha Nathan's pack house. I cut the engine and exit my car, I begin to walk up to the door when it opens and there stands a shirtless man about the same height as me with dark black curly hair and muscles of a Greek god.
I couldn't help but gawk 'this man was perfection' I thought to myself then cringed. 'Why am I having thoughts like that.' I began to wonder, shaking the thoughts from my head I introduce myself. "Hi I'm alpha Jamie from the crescent moon pack." I say as I extend my hand for him to shake. He looks at me and begins to rub his chin, our eyes lock for a moment and I can swear I can feels sparks but I try to ignore it. "Welcome, I'm alpha Nathan." And he begins to shake my hand.
As our hands touch I can feel sparks flying everywhere it's like we're the only two people in the world. 'I'm only supposed to be having these feelings for Payton, what the hell is the matter with me,' I angrily thought to myself. 'I'm not even gay' Looking at him a bit confused he moves over to the side of the door and gestures for me to come in.
As I walk in a scent hits me like a wave, it's vanilla and roses. My eyes begin to search the area that we are standing in. 'Payton is here' I thought. "My Luna will be down in a minute." Nathan' says to me smiling breaking me out of my thoughts. 'I could watch him smile for ever' I thought. Frowning to myself where did that thought come from.
I'm starting to feel really confused when I hear foot steps coming down the stairs. I look up only to met with the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. "Payton" I gasp "hello my ex mate," she says smiling widely at me. All of a sudden my head feels like it about to explode. 'MATE'
'wait what, was that Xavier' I thought to myself. 'yes it is dumbass and there is our mate.' He says licking his lips. Xavier is back I can't believe this and my mate is stood right in front of me. All of a sudden I'm pulled from my thoughts when I hear a deep chuckle. "is this the idiot who rejected you baby," he says softly to my mate. This causes me to growl which cause both of them to laugh. I look at them with a confused look and watch as they mind link each other.
They finish talking through mind link and Payton gives me a stern look, as soon as my eyes make contact I feel my heart begin to pick up. "I'm his Luna." She says shattering my heart. My face falls and I feel like my heart is going to be ripped out. I look at the ground feeling sorry for myself 'I lost he ' I thought trying to hold back tears.
All of a sudden I began to feel sparks all over my arms as I looked up I realised she was touching me. My mouth fell agape 'if she is his Luna why am I feeling sparks' looking at her confused she just smiled. And walked over to her mate. "you will see." she giggles. "first business" Nathan continues. Payton kisses Nathan goodbye and walks into the kitchen. I nod at Nathan and he begins to lead me to his office. When we enter the office me and Nathan get straight down to business.
