As Louis plummeted from the creaking elevators to the start of all his pains and sufferings in the battlegrounds of the 'arena' he could see that this place was not going to be easy. It had a stench of malicious air and it was oozing bloodlust from the countless people that had met their fates here.
All the information he knew about the 'arena' was that young boys were sent here to fight death battles and it was mandatory for them to choose a weapon of their choice in order to do this. The aim of the 'arena' was that they had to kill every single opposing teams and leave no survivor behind except for themselves, if their sanity still remained, and their teammates.
After Louis was forcefully sent to the 'arena' he could make out the faint shadows of two boys in the distance, one boy was holding a gun and pointing it at another guy that was cowering helplessly against a pile of rubble. Louis heard three resonating shots being fired and noticed the frail boy's body go abruptly from terror-stricken and panicky to limp and lifeless.
He had seemed unfazed when the blood from the victim had splattered across his face making it harder to see his facial expressions but Louis could still make out the shiny droplets falling from the boys face.
That boy had turned out to be one of Louis's teammates in the 'arena', and his name was Savere. Savere wasn't the friendliest of people and he preferred to keep to himself. He had jet black hair with blue tips and he wore an expressionless face most of the times.
Louis didn't know if he was the only one to feel this but he knew that Savere distanced himself particularly from Louis and there was just something mysterious about him that Louis couldn't say.
He had three other teammates, their names were Kael, Pollo and Vols. Kael and Pollo were twins but were quite different in personality, Pollo's weapon was a bow and he had a calm, tactical mind but Kael's weapon was a glaive and he had a laid back and easygoing personality.
They both bore the same glittering gold hair and attractive green eyes.
Vols's weapon was an axe and he had a devil-may-care personality, Vols had fawn hair and amber eyes.
They were all friendly and welcoming even though Savere was not for some reason, Louis decided to just leave him be and try to get along as best as he could with his other teammates but he soon realised that what he had just thought was not going to be obtained easily.
Savere was the person that taught newbies in the team how to survive in the 'arena' as he was the one that had lived here the longest and was the most experienced. Louis discovered that he was going to have a harder time here then he had originally thought.
