"Are you going to the village of Ambra, Your Highness?" Kenneth brought up the topic when he was alone with Alastair after breakfast.
It was not a matter that could be brushed off just like that. It concerned his and Samantha's life and even though he was unwilling to, Alastair had to choose a day again for the journey. It was the only place from where he could get the answers to his questions while Samantha could recover and fully gain her powers.
"Would you mind..." Barely had Alastair started when he was interrupted by a knock at the door.
"Your Highness, it is Soarsa. I am here to speak something important." He heard the lady speak from the other side and Alastair nodded at Kenneth to open the door.
Saorsa ignored Kenneth's gentle and affectionate gaze and walked in. She bowed at the young king before she licked her lips that had gone dry in her nervousness.
