Samantha sat on the bed beside the unconscious man while Alastair just observed her from the door. He did not venture further inside, allowing her to take over the reins. Although he did not know how successful she would be in curing Calix, he trusted her and her powers.
"Samantha," He called her, garnering her attention on him. "It does not matter if you cannot cure him. But please do not put your life at risk for him." Alastair stated and the animal in him that had been silent all this while started to move around in trepidation.
