Samantha followed Alastair closely as they ran towards the room from where they had heard Cyrus' desperate cry for help.
Though Samantha did not know what had happened, Alastair discerned what the situation to be even without anyone confirming it. He had heard Cyrus shouting Calix's name while he was speaking to Samantha.
An unknown fear trapped his heart and Alastair's eyes quivered in panic but he did not stop running. His intuition told him what might have happened and he had to save the young man before they lost him forever.
Cyrus was trying to wake the young man up when Alastair burst into the room, startling everyone inside. His sudden appearance along with Samantha's shocked everyone including Cyrus for it had just been a few hours when the young King had departed to the village of Ambra.
