"It is getting late, dear. We should return to the castle." Alastair stated again as he kept his gaze fixed on the girl who was seated beside an excited Kirill.
They had returned to the cave long ago, and even after attempting to persuade her for a long time, Samantha had been adamant to stay with Kirill and spend some time with him. Though Alastair did not have a problem with it, he was worried about her. It was already late into the night, and they would soon depart to the village of Ambra once the sun rose. He did not wish to let her stay awake until then.
One look from Samantha was all it took for Alastair to give into her. Every time he attempted to make her return home, she would give him an adorable look, making him surrender before her right away. All he could do was sulk and watch Samantha stare at Kirill in awe while the animal enjoyed her complete attention to the fullest.
