Romulus kept staring in the direction Wradeni had gone, his eyes now filled with fear for the demon of a man. He had never expected the man to choose to inspect the truth behind his words, instead of acting upon it immediately and going for Alfred's life. Just the thought of what lay ahead for him made him shudder in his place, and he did know how to come out of the predicament he was in.
Fear was the only emotion on his face. Even his pain was overshadowed by the terror Romulus felt for the sinister young man. His inhuman appearance kept appearing before his eyes, increasing his dread all the more. He was so lost in his fearful thoughts that he completely missed the way the servant was smiling at him.
