Though it surprised the people, for the examination was being conducted before the schedule, making them wonder the reason for it. What shocked them was the new rule that had been included in it. For the first time, women too were allowed to take the examination.
While there were a few who accepted this new and inspiring change, the others were completely against it, especially the men who held significant positions in the kingdom. To them, women were meant to stay at home and take care of the matters related to it.
