The maids helped Eleanor to sit up, though it was impossible for her to even move. Her body was too fragile and weak and even moving a little took a lot of effort. The two maids supported her on either side, lest she should slip and fall.
Eleanor barely had any strength in her and with great difficulty, she parted her lips for the maid to push the spoon inside. Though the porridge was good and smelt delicious, Eleanor was not in a situation to enjoy it. She could neither catch the perfect taste, nor could she smell the delicious fragrance. The only taste she could catch hold of was the taste of herbs. Though she disliked what she was eating, her body only accepted this food. So, Eleanor had no choice but to force it down her throat.
