Alastair raised his sword and swung it at her, holding back most of his power. He did not want to hurt her and if she was unable to defend herself in time, he could as well retreat and end the fight at once. However, he did not have the chance to retreat for the moment he raised his sword Samantha stopped his attack. The two swords clashed against each other, the metallic sound reverberating in the air at that moment.
Alastair's lips curved up as he stared at the girl whose countenance had changed again for the second time in the day. Her eyes were raging with confidence and her face was determined.
