Saorsa continued to pat Samantha's forehead to calm her, wiping the tears that kept escaping her eyes even though she was deep asleep. The truth about her parents' death hit her hard, and she had ended up crying for a long time until her eyes were red and swollen and her throat was sore. She was too exhausted physically and emotionally, and she fell asleep in Saorsa's arms unknowingly.
"Stay strong, Samantha. I will always be with you." Saorsa let out a deep sigh as she took a look at the now calm girl before she covered her with the duvet. Taking one last glance at her, she left the room to find Janet just outside the door.
"Lady Saorsa." She rushed to her on seeing her approach her.
"Janet, Samantha is now asleep. She is tired mentally and physically. Please take care of her." Saorsa's voice was filled with a heaviness that Janet could not understand. She just stood still taking in all the orders the lady was giving her.
"Is His Highness here?"
